2025-02-13 01:54:52 +0000 UTCThere is/was a version of the beanboozled jellybeans that I'd just buy and eat because I liked the "gross" flavors. Black pepper was good, grass was kind of nice, and even the really bad ones tasted mostly fine (it's all in the smell once you begin chewing). My favorite flavor of jelly bean, period, is Dirt. It tastes basically like chocolate pudding jelly beans, only you get a strong smell like you just opened a bag of top soil. It's honestly really nice, and I WISH I could just buy a bulk bag of just that flavor. Every couple years I google it to see and I can find no options for that. I can't remember if I have emailed Jelly Belly about it; if not maybe I should. I rewatch old TMPH episodes and this one always makes me crave a dirt-flavored jellybean.

So one day he comes in with a little box of those hot hot beans and he's asking around if anybody wants one. I say I do of course and I want a Carolina Reaper so he gives me one and it tasted awful. Not very spicy though. So then I'm looking at the box and realize he actually gave me a sriracha one. I take one that's def a Reaper and it was the opposite effect. Sweet like a fruit flavored bean but only for as long as my tongue was willing to work until it decided to give out due to the sheer spice.
