Are you having trouble processing payment?
Added 2023-08-03 16:52:17 +0000 UTCThere seems to be an issue with Patreon at the moment(it was starting since last month in fact) that some patrons can't process payment with their card.
Since last month, my revenue dropped like $600-ish. I thought it was because my content is not up to satisfactory and people decided to dropped their support. But now it seems a lot of creator losses their patrons and from what we gather it some kind of botched transaction process between bank and Patreon
So is this true? I want to know how many people encounter this issue.

And when I tried to redo them, they just... didn't work (the page would go white after clicking JOIN and I'd get no notification that I joined, nor was my Credit Card Charged). I finally was able to renew them this morning, which I did. The entire thing is stupid, there is no "re-run all charges" (and I have a lot of people I support). Also, I can see the failed billing, but after I "retry" (which is a misnomer it 's actually "sign up again") I have NO INDICATION that I have done so. I'm actually appalled on how bad the entire thing is for something that would happen normally to a few percent of users each month (but this and last month was a LOT of people). First the instructions are really stupid/simple/don't really explain what to do, "retry" isn't, no mass "redo", no indication of success... I'd not be surprised if Patreon was NEW but it's been around for a long time. Anyway, it said my support went through this time so hopefully you're getting the money as that's the entire point of all this.

2023-08-06 13:45:54 +0000 UTCIt's happening to me right now. I had to get a prepaid card just to leave this comment. :D I'd be happy with subscribing on any other platform you can think of. TBH there are other reasons to avoid Patreon.

2023-08-06 12:36:24 +0000 UTCMine went through, but for some reason my credit card charged it as an international transaction and added on a fee, which it never did before, even though it charged in USD. Something strange is definitely happening.
