Though Phoenix hasn't been formally introduced, I wanted to draw him doing what he does best, preening and spoiling the hell out of his partner. The bird instinct is kinda insane on this guy. Lucian's always appreciated it and figured it was like his love language or something, but being a beastkin reaaallly made him understand the extent of how much these casual displays of intimacy mean to Phoenix.
God I cannot wait to get to him and the others...
