Graphics: British, Swedish & Belgian Armored Infantry Platoons

Did a Belgian graphic as research for an upcoming video, and decided to do British and Swedish ones with info I already had on hand. These are:

- British Army Armoured Infantry Platoon, FV510 Warrior, 1990s

- Belgian Motorized Rifle Platoon, Piranha IIIC, Today

- Swedish Armored Infantry Platoon, Strf 9040C / CV90, ~2020

In most armies the number of subunits per unit has to do with the funtions of warfighting: Find Fix Strike Exploit. In most western doctrines, there is a subunit for each of the tasks. Sometimes only the first three of the functions are recognised, to that could be the case for the Swedes.

It's what they've always done. As a generalization, 3 vehicles are easier to control and quicker to maneuver. The US was actually looking into 3-tank platoons for some time as a replacement for its 5-tank platoons, but compromised on 4 when Abrams was introduced

Interesting that the Swedish use a three vehicle format rather than four. Is there a reason behind this?
