Video: Mass Effect's Marines: The Doctrinal Guide
Added 2025-10-10 10:13:58 +0000 UTCNew video on almost everything to know about humanity's Marines in the Mass Effect franchise. This is my first video to tackle fiction (other than that one April Fool's) and the first to make use of real 3D models, which I might do more of in the future. Even if you aren't familiar with the Mass Effect series, the video makes a lot of real-world comparisons and applies real-world doctrinal terms to stuff in the games which could help demystify the jargon.
Whether or not I make more videos based on fiction in the future will probably depend on how this one is received and how much gaming I'm doing that month.

Unexpected, but a great example of translating purpose to organization. I've been goofing off in HoI4, so I've been trying the same for a hypothetical Republic of Africa.
