$1 Tier Upgrade
Added 2022-04-21 23:56:33 +0000 UTCI've heard complaints from subscribers at my $1 tier about my bugfixes only being available to $5 and $15 subscribers, and how they have to wait until the free version comes out to get the bugfix.
At the same time, SubscribeStar and their payment processor takes a cut of 46 cents for every $1 subscription that I have. I'm not sure what cut Patreon takes, but I believe that it is similar. Either way, a cut of almost half my revenue is way too high.
One idea that I had was to upgrade the $1 tier to be two dollars a month. In exchange, they would get the latest bugfix release ten days after it came out, which would mean getting it about halfway through the month instead of having to wait for the public release.
