This one is pretty cool. I took some inspiration from FFX as I was laying things out and that really led to some pretty nice sounding sections. There are lots of spacy sounding synths, but for some reason layering them up the right way gives things a bit more of a wintery feel...or maybe it's just because that's what I was picturing in my head before hand that it sounds like that lol.
Sometimes I forget that I need to do that step first. Meaning, finding inspiration first before jumping in to a project. It's not always the best approach, because sometimes I need to write something even if not inspired. BUT then there are times like this where just a couple minutes of research helps to kickstart the whole song. Anyway, just getting that stream of consciousness off my mind lol.
