Warrior #211 Main Theme

Today is a return to form. This is the first 16 bit tune I've released in a while (at least here on Patreon). But there is actually a whole story behind it.
A couple years back I was brought on to a big project that had a LOT of promise. There were (supposedly) some pretty big industry names associated with the project, a lengthy roadmap listed out, and an already growing community surrounding it. I was brought on to be the main composer for what would become a series of games along the lines of The Elder Scrolls.
I was so hyped, that all my business sense went out the window. The first project was meant to be a 16-Bit game, so I put together a few tracks and sent them off excitedly. The tracks were well received and I felt like I had secured my position in the project.
That's where the good news ended lol.
Long story short, someone within the team stole a lot of money, the project changed hands, the big industry guys left the project and eventually it all just floundered out. In the end I only got a fraction of what I was promised, but there was a big lesson learned...
ALWAYS have a contract.
These guys (and a few others) are why I generally don't do stuff without receiving partial payment upfront anymore. It's not entirely out of the question, but I have to REALLY believe in the project.
So uhhh...anyway....this song is the 16 bit version of the main theme that I came up with for that big epic series of games. Hope you like it :D
