I agree with the sentiments about the game for this ep. It's certainly not a good game but does deserve commentary, which I believe X stated.

At this point in time Jordan, Shaq and Barkley had refused to let their likenesses be included in the "NBA game" package and so they had to be negotiated separately. That's why none of them are in NBA Jam. This game and Shaq-Fu exist basically so EA could justify the millions of dollars it cost to ensure that THEIR NBA game had 2 of the 3 biggest names in the sport ( (Barkley signed an exclusive with Accolade)
