2023-04-04 12:18:42 +0000 UTCI feel like I need to mention that Yuzo Koshiro has made a point of retaining copyright on as much of his music as possible since the 16-bit era because he resented Falcom making so much money on remixes and symphonic arrangements of his Ys work (a reasonable gripe), so it's possible that nothing untoward happened here. If he owns them, he can sell the same songs to different publishers unless the contract says it's an exclusive.
