Soon enough, it would all reset again, and only he would know it once the change was complete. He watched as a young man became an infant. As an infant became a father. As a bowling alley became a daycare center. As a preschool became a university. In a way, they had all the time in the world, but no one would be able to escape the inevitable cycle of eternity.
"Who is the cutest cub I know? You are! You are!" She said, as her little sister giggled and clapped.
"No, you are!" the cub replied, standing up.
"Oh my gosh! Your first words! And you can stand! Oh my gosh! I hafta tell evyboddy! Hey- uh...." The young vulpine's expression of mirth was quickly replaced by confusion and growing horror as she began to shrink, while here sister began to grow.
"You're the baby, little sis!" said the erstwhile cub.
"N-no I not! I big sis! Waaahhh!" And those were the last words the young vulpine spoke as her 'little sis' popped a paci in her mouth and took her to the crib for a change and a nap.
