This is my first Patreon post!
Added 2019-02-05 06:45:02 +0000 UTCI've been toying with the idea of making a Patreon page for a while, and have finally decided that ultimately I have nothing to lose! This will be a place where I post my work before it goes up to the public, at this stage it will be by a week, but it could become more depending on my posting schedule. In future there will also be exclusive content not available anywhere else!
There will be longer posts like this on a regular basis available to Patrons, which will talk more about what I'm working on, include some WIP snippets, and probably go into rambles about my messed up writing process.
About Me:
My name is Saysi and I'm a 25y/o nerd who resides in the Southern Hemisphere (apologies for the weird timezone thing...). I've been "officially" writing for over ten years, in the sense that I was 14 when I first showed someone my work, but really I never "started" writing, it was just something that I've always done.
Fanfiction was (and still is, on some level) my cure for writer's block. I hit a point in the novels I was working on where I couldn't seem to continue, and for whatever reason, I decided to write a Free! Fanfic. That fandom is still super near and dear to my heart, so expect more content somewhere down the line!
The interaction I found with other fandom members was second to none, and I really enjoyed the rush of letting people read and enjoy my work, so that turned into more Free fics, then HxH and Haikyuu fics, and even a YoI fic at one point. I got hooked on BNHA, my first fic kind of blew up (I still don't understand why, tbh...) so fanfic suddenly became a huge part of my life.
I really appreciate everyone who has supported me along the way, you all mean the world to me <3
If people are interested, I might even end up posting some of my original fiction on here. That will be decided by you, the viewers!

You're so sweet, thank you <3 I wish the numbers didn't bother me lol, it's not gonna stop me writing of course but it still makes me think "what am I doing wrong?" I'd say the number of people supporting me on here within just a month and a bit makes up for it though!

2019-03-04 05:41:56 +0000 UTCGirl, don’t worry about it. The readers you have may be a small amount compared to others, but in the world of fandoms, one is just as worth it as 100. Being honest with you, your writing is so good, and your content is so constant, that with time, I’m pretty sure you will get a bigger community of readers and followers. You just have to give it time. I remember I found you because of a mini-list at the BakuDeku Fic Library’s Tumblr and here I am, after reading almost all you have. I’m really happy to hear it’s such a hobby you enjoy so much, and that you excel at too!

2019-03-04 05:39:58 +0000 UTCThank you so much!! There are a few factors in my life that writing was always a weirdly convenient hobby for lol, it still amazes me that people enjoy reading it though! Every time I see a fic on Ao3 with 10k Kudos I think "how am I supposed to get there when 99% of my fics don't even get 10k views?" but as long as I'm enjoying what I write, I hope readers will enjoy it too!
