The type of girls who flirted with Bakugou were a strange breed, Midoriya had decided. He couldn't blame them, of course. Bakugou was amazing! And hot - you'd have to be blind or a fool to miss that – but his attitude was infamous throughout the school. Most of them were the type who thought they could "fix" him, girls convinced they could calm him down with sweet touches and tender kisses, or at least by letting off steam in the bedroom. They were teenagers, of course Midoriya couldn't blame them, but he could certainly seethe silently at his desk as he listened to the thinly veiled offers. It didn't take long for them to be scared off though, as one by one they came to realise how shitty his demeanor really was.

"Don't want it," Bakugou said flatly, tossing a letter back at the trembling girl who offered it to him. "Not interested."

"B-But-"

"You deaf or something? Piss off."

With a little squeak she ran back to the safety of the corridor and her lingering friends, their glares going unnoticed when Bakugou returned immediately to his book. He wanted to get his homework done between classes, wanted it out of the way by the time they actually finished school for the day, so he'd have the evening to himself. So much for that plan, if annoying first-years kept interrupting.

Then came the fateful girl, who not only waited until classes were over, but while he showered and changed out of his costume, too; she even stayed quiet until a lull in his conversation, letting the discussion pause naturally before she stepped forward.

"Excuse me, Bakugou-senpai?" she spoke up with a sweet smile. "I'm sorry to interrupt! I heard you like spicy foods, and I made way too many meatballs but my friends won't eat them because they're too hot, so I thought you might take these off my hands?"

She offered him a little cardboard carton, and he eyed her warily as he accepted, sniffing at the box once.

"I hope you like them! They're my favourite!"

"Thanks," he grunted, tucking them into his bag. "I'll have them for dinner."

"Any time! Enjoy!"

With a last little bow she stepped away, leaving half a dozen confused third-years in her wake, and Midoriya shot a sidelong glance Bakugou's way.

"At least it's not cookies this time," he shrugged.

They started back toward the dorms, various classmates splitting off to go get dinner or run errands, until eventually, as they walked up the path, only Bakugou and Midoriya remained.

"You want to try them with me?" he asked, waving toward his bag. "They smell alright."

"Sure!"

He tipped the meatballs into a tray with leftover rice from breakfast, shoving it in the microwave and frowning at the carton as they began to heat.

"Sneaky bitch," he muttered, incinerating the cardboard in his grip.

"What, Kacchan?"

"Left her stupid love confession under the food. I should've known better."

Midoriya giggled despite the annoyance sitting deep in the pit of his stomach, slipping aside to get bowls for them both as the microwave began to beep. They worked like a well-oiled machine, splitting the food and pouring drinks, carrying them up to Bakugou's room to eat in privacy.

"You did good today," Bakugou said awkwardly, ruffling Midoriya's hair when he'd set down his things. "Um, good job."

"Aww, you're trying so hard!" Midoriya giggled. "I appreciate the effort, Kacchan, but you don't have to force it!"

"Shut up."

"You're amazing," Midoriya smiled warmly, leaning in to kiss his cheek. "Kacchan is always amazing."

"Whatever, nerd."

Bakugou pulled up a video on his laptop, setting it on the end of the bed, and by the time he settled Midoriya was already in his lap, snuggling in to eat and watch.

It was part of a comfortable routine they'd developed toward the end of their second year; cooking together every night, Midoriya slowly learning from Bakugou's cooking prowess, before they retired to eat and snuggle. Eventually they would tear themselves apart to finish off their homework, and if they had enough time before Bakugou passed out from exhaustion, they'd fool around a little before bed.

"You have homework to do?" Bakugou mumbled, resting his chin on Midoriya's head.

"Just a little. Won't take long."

"I'll help."

"Feeling clingy tonight?" Midoriya teased. "I could do it before class in the morning, if you want."

"No you won't," Bakugou snorted. "Just get it done."

"Yes, Sir!"

He giggled when Bakugou pinched him lightly, leaning back to snuggle into his warm chest, and a strong arm wound around his waist in return, holding him close.

"Let me stay here a while, okay Kacchan?"

"Yeah, okay."

The next morning, the girl was back, hovering outside the classroom as Bakugou and his friends made their way through the building.

"Bakugou-senpai!" she called, waving excitedly. "How were the meatballs?"

"Pretty good. Thanks."

"You're welcome!"

Bakugou slid past her to enter the classroom, and Midoriya caught himself scowling when the girl continued to grin, apparently not taking the hint.

"You should probably go to class," Midoriya said sweetly, smiling as he nudged his way through. "You wouldn't want to be late!"

"Right! Yes!" She turned to look through the doorway again, still beaming. "Byebye, Bakugou-senpai! See you later!"

She took off as the bell rang, and Midoriya let his smile fade, grumbling to himself as he fell into his seat. Bakugou turned to glance back at him, but he kept his eyes firmly on his bag, pretending not to notice the curiosity in those ruby red eyes.

"She's cute," Kaminari pointed out, grinning at Bakugou across the desks. "And she puts up with your shitty attitude, too!"

"Shut up."

"She seems nice, maybe you should take her out!"

"Fuck off."

"I heard she has a temper," Ashido added, eyes shining mischievously. "Snaps at her classmates for being idiots."

"It's like she's made for him!"

Midoriya jumped when he felt the snap, looking down to see shards of plastic littering his desk, fingers stained with ink from the shattered pen that had, moments ago, been safe in his grasp.

"Damn it," he muttered, dropping the last of the rubble out of his fist and watching beads of blood form. "Stupid, stupid, stupid."

He dug a handkerchief from his pocket and did his best to clean up, jumping again when a little foil package hit him in the face.

"Thanks," he mumbled.

He tore it open with his teeth and shook out one of the anti-bacterial wipes Bakugou always had on hand, ready to wipe down surfaces when he was forced to use public restrooms or tables. It made quirk work of his hand, and by the time Aizawa arrived he was almost done cleaning his desk, too, swiping the trash to one side to dispose of later.

The morning dragged on endlessly, and Midoriya felt like he wasn't taking in a word of the lessons. Bakugou was gonna have his head for it later, when they went to do homework and Midoriya was utterly lost. He watched the back of Bakugou's head, the way he arched his neck to stretch lightly between classes, the way he tapped at his cheek when he was thinking hard, even the way his hair moved when he shifted his gaze, spikes bobbing sweetly despite their rough appearance.

When the bell finally rang, and Midoriya moved to escape, Aizawa's voice rang out loud and clear over the sound.

"Bakugou, Todoroki, Midoriya, I need to talk to you. Everyone else, you're dismissed."

Midoriya swallowed hard as he approached the front desk, managing a wobbly smile when Todoroki joined him, nodding once in acknowledgment. Bakugou took his time getting there, but still Aizawa waited, letting the door slide shut behind the last of their classmates before he spoke.

"Against what may be my better judgment, I would like the three of you to be the students who visit our first-years and talk to them about internships and work experience this year."

"Because of the Sports Festival?" Todoroki asked, contemplative. "Shouldn't Yaoyorozu be here too, then?"

"Partly, yes, but also because you three are the most... Let's say 'well-known', in your class. You have plenty of experiences in the field to draw on, and a lot of knowledge of what happens if you don't do the right thing."

"Point taken," Midoriya cringed, managing a tiny smile all the same. "When and where?"

"This afternoon. You have the day off from Heroics classes, you can go spend it with the new class 1-A instead."

Bakugou looked away with a noise of frustration, but didn't object, and even Aizawa knew that was agreement, in the Book of Bakugou. With a little wave of his hand, Aizawa dismissed them, and Midoriya sighed as they escaped the room.

"Kacchan, please don't beat up all the kids, okay? I know Togata-senpai did it to us, but at least he was kind of gentle."

"I wasn't there," Bakugou reminded him, making Midoriya cringe at his stupidity. "And Half 'n half chickened out, if I remember correctly."

"I didn't chicken out," Todoroki responded flatly, long since done with the stupid argument. "At least I wasn't on house arrest."

"Fuck you, I did nothing wrong. We did nothing wrong."

"Whatever."

They made their way to the lunchroom in an awkward silence, unbroken until Midoriya reached to push open the door, freezing in his tracks.

"Don't give the kids ideas," Todoroki said softly. "You two have been at each other's throats since day one, but somehow still made it to the top of the school. Don't make them think that's the path to success."

"We wouldn't, Todoroki-kun!" Midoriya objected. "We would never!"

"What he means," Bakugou grumbled, shooting a glare at the impassive, scarred face. "Is he wants us to be nice to each other."

"That's a stretch," Todoroki snorted. "Just don't kill each other."

"We're okay!" Midoriya assured him, grinning. "Kacchan and I are friends! Right, Kacchan?"

"Fuckin' whatever. Move, I'm starving."

"R-Right! See you after lunch, then!"

Bakugou shoved past him to sit with his friends, lunch already waiting in front of an empty seat, ready for him to sit and dig in.

"They're too good to him," Todoroki said, though there was a hint of a smile beneath it, like he could almost be joking. "I'm hungry too, what are you eating today?"

"Oh! I was thinking chicken!"

"Chicken sounds good, let's get chicken."

He glanced over his shoulder as they walked, taking one last peek at Bakugou already arguing with his friends, and he cracked the tiniest of smiles when Bakugou looked back. Uraraka was waving to them, though, so he tore his gaze away, smiling awkwardly as he readied himself for the onslaught of excitement and lectures alike from their friends when they shared the news.

Midoriya watched fondly as Bakugou reluctantly relayed his licensing story, rubbing at the back of his neck and looking away as he spoke. The class of younger teenagers watched and listened respectfully, much more engaged than they'd been at the same age. It was kind of amazing how far Bakugou had come since he was then, how he'd gone from boasting and gloating about being the best, to being a genuine, honest-to-God hero.

"Only an idiot would fail you on a Hero Exam!"

Midoriya's little smile immediately faded, eyes turning on the familiar girl with her dark hair and bright blue eyes.

"Nah, I was kind of a jackass," Bakugou shrugged. "It was harsh, but I kind of deserved it too. The secondary course stuff was actually pretty... Good, I guess. Useful."

The girl hadn't left his side since the moment they'd arrived, hanging on his every word and following like a lost little puppy everywhere he went. Midoriya was exhausted just watching it, he wasn't sure how Bakugou was putting up with it.

"But you're the best hero in the school! You won all your sports festivals! How could they fail you?!"

"Being a hero isn't just about being the strongest. Otherwise half the villains would be heroes too."

"Oh! You're so smart, Bakugou-senpai!"

Bakugou looked up when he heard the familiar noises, finding Midoriya muttering under his breath as he stared at his borrowed desk, squeezing a little too tightly at his pen. He wanted to step in and ask if everything was okay, but he knew a move like that would blow their chances at remaining on the down-low, and with the way Midoriya got so hyper-focussed on even the most meaningless of tasks, it was probably nothing anyway.

In the end, it was Todoroki who stepped in, gently taking the pen from his grasp and raising an eyebrow at him, bringing him back to Earth. With a hard swallow and a nod, a quick assurance that everything was fine, they headed for the field to let the kids test out their abilities. It was the part Bakugou had been waiting for since they'd heard students from their class would be picked, ready to test just how many kids he could beat up at once.

They'd agreed pretty quickly that Todoroki shouldn't be the one to challenge them, not when he could just freeze them in a heartbeat – they at least needed to feel like they had a fighting chance. Bakugou suspected Midoriya had wanted a turn too, but he was nothing if he wasn't selfless, and he was more than willing to hand it over with a smile when he saw that Bakugou wanted it.

Although, as they walked out to the training grounds, he started to second guess himself. His quirk was dangerous, after all. He could leave lasting injuries on them if he wasn't careful – in fact, even if he was careful, someone would probably still get burnt, at the very least. Plus, was it really that impressive for the kids to see? He could fire the entire group back with one blast if it was big enough, it wasn't exactly unexpected, it wouldn't leave them whispering about it for weeks like his class had after Togata had visited.

"You do it," he said quietly, watching Midoriya's eyes widen. "It makes more sense."

"But Kacchan, you wanted-"

"And now I want you to do it, asshole. You scared or something?"

They locked eyes, exchanging silent words for a moment, then Midoriya smiled. He knew his Kacchan like a book, after all. It didn't take much to explain.

"Okay," he agreed, nodding. "I'll do it."

He stripped off his blazer, handing it to Bakugou, but didn't bother to actually change out of his uniform. He wasn't going to go over one percent, maybe two at the most if someone was unexpectedly strong, so there was no real need for it.

Bakugou stood back to watch, and Todoroki stood silently at his side, the two of them preparing for the slaughter. Midoriya had significantly improved his quirk control since their first year, so there was no longer fear of someone ending up hurt – in fact, he only really needed his thumb and first finger. He braced his arm with his other hand, folding his index finger back, and as soon as the kids began to move, he flicked. Bakugou raised a hand to hold his hair out of his eyes in the sudden gust, watching as students went toppling back, flying across the field in a barrage of squeaks and squeals. The few that managed to stand their ground were frozen in place, unable to move closer, let alone fight, and Midoriya easily sent them off with a little shove each. He didn't even bother to curl his hand into a fist, but the last of the students went flying regardless, and he brushed off his white shirt, reaching for a bottle of water to wash the dust out of his throat.

When he looked up again his victory faded from his mind immediately, watching as the dark-haired girl sidled up to Bakugou's side, pouting a little. He felt cold seep down his arm, realising his mistake too late when he looked down at the crushed ball of plastic that was once his favourite drink bottle.

"Are you okay, Midoriya-senpai?!"

A small girl rushed to him with a towel and a fresh water bottle, tilting her head to consider him as she shoved them in his hands.

"Forgot to turn off my quirk," he smiled awkwardly, trying for a sheepish laugh but coming out strained. "Sorry you had to see that."

"Not at all! You didn't hurt yourself, did you?"

"No, I'm good, thank you."

He dried his arm off as best as he could and let her take the towel back again, smiling gratefully as he took a drink.

"That girl hanging around Ka- Um, Bakugou. What's her deal?"

"Oh, Tokushima? She's been crushing on him for ages. She said on day one here that she was gonna use this year to seduce him or something."

"Ugh."

"I know, right? We're here to learn, not find boyfriends."

"Yeah, exactly right," Midoriya nodded, tearing his eyes away from Tokushima's little sniggers, and from Bakugou's slightly concerned stare. "So let's learn some stuff, yeah? You guys can ask me any question you want!"

"Anything?! Awesome!"

With a more genuine smile he followed her over to the rest of the class, Todoroki already awaiting his arrival, and he pushed Bakugou to the back of his mind as he got stuck in.

Soon things were drawing to a close, and Midoriya had successfully managed to ignore Tokushima's antics, until one fateful moment took him from teetering on the edge of a cliff and sent him plunging into the dark depths.

It was such a stupid move, so damn obvious, but Bakugou was such an oblivious idiot. God damn, how had he and Midoriya gotten together in the first place if he was so damn dense?

They'd been on their way back to the classroom, to discuss what they'd learned in the training session, and Tokushima had "tripped" in the doorway, falling right into Bakugou's arms. It was like a scene out of a shitty romance movie, except that it was completely staged and Bakugou didn't even like girls. He was Midoriya's boyfriend, not some annoying first year who couldn't take a hint's!

She smirked as she fell into his chest, face smushed into his strong pecs, and Midoriya had to grit his teeth to keep from yelling.

"Oops, watch your step," he said instead, pulling her off by the back of the shirt so she could see Bakugou's scowl. "Wouldn't want to hurt yourself."

"Oops, so sorry, Bakugou-senpai! I'm so clumsy!"

"Should work on that," he shrugged, turning down the hall toward their old first-year classroom. "Not great for a hero. Are we almost done? I want to go home."

"The bell goes in ten minutes!" Tokushima told him brightly. "Do you have plans for dinner?"

"Yeah, always do."

Midoriya cracked a tiny smile at that, watching Tokushima fumble for words for a moment, but she recovered fast, remaining at his heels as he led the way back to the classroom.

"Is everything okay, Midoriya?"

"Yeah!" he nodded hurriedly, flashing Todoroki a quick smile. "Just tired!"

"Hmm. Do you need help with your homework? Is it keeping you up late?"

"N-No, that's okay, but thank you! I just, uh, haven't been sleeping very well some nights? I'm gonna have an early night, I promise!"

"Well, tell me if I can do anything."

"Thank you! You're a great friend!"

Midoriya did his best to be nice as the last ten minutes of class dragged on, but it proved to be difficult with Tokushima constantly standing at Bakugou's side, touching his bicep lightly as she giggled, or leaning over the desk in front of him, giving him a clear view down her shirt. To Bakugou's credit, he didn't look – mostly because he had zero interest in breasts, but it wasn't like the rest of the group knew that.

When the bell finally rang, he practically ran out of the room, dragging Bakugou with him despite his complaints.

"I don't like her," he said finally, when they'd rounded a corner. "Why are you being nice to her?"

"Haah? Who the fuck am I being nice to?"

"To that... That... Noodle head!"

Bakugou straight up cackled, shoving Midoriya in the shoulder as his face contorted with the laughter, taking a moment to realise Midoriya still wasn't smiling.

"She's a stupid kid, Deku, what the fuck?" He demanded, when he'd found some semblance of composure. "You want me to be shitty to all of them?"

"Yes. No. Not shitty. Just... Ugh. Never mind. Let's just go get dinner, okay?"

"What are you so damn upset about?"

"Nothing! It's nothing. I'm fine, I swear."

"Whatever, nerd."

─────

When Midoriya heard the commotion across the lunchroom, the familiar sound of Kaminari and Ashido being over-enthusiastic, he couldn't help but look up to investigate. To his surprise, and frankly horror, he saw a waterfall of dark hair sidling up next to Bakugou, slipping into the seat beside him and flashing him a bright smile.

"Don't worry, Blasty is just like that sometimes!" Ashido was giggling. "You'll win him over eventually!"

Midoriya had to grit his teeth to keep from yelling, fingers squeezing hard at the edge of the table. They were all laughing along like it was some big joke, like Bakugou was going to inevitably settle down with some little girl and be happy for it.

"His attitude is just kind of shitty," Kaminari added with a grin. "We're used to it."

"I don't mind!" Tokushima beamed. "Bakugou-senpai's attitude is just a part of who he is! I love him even if it's shitty sometimes!"

Midoriya felt a snap under his hand, eyes darting down to see a perfectly hand-sized indent crushed into the wood. Quickly he took his grip away, forcing himself to focus on breathing.

She's just a kid, Izuku. He isn't interested, you know that. Just relax. Calm down. It's not a big deal.

"Oops! Oh no! I'm sorry, I'm so clumsy!"

He looked up again and found Tokushima grabbing at napkins, reaching over to- oh hell no.

Bakugou pulled away in a hurry, slapping her hand a little too roughly off his leg, but she only giggled in response.

"I didn't know you were so shy, Bakugou-senpai!"

"Fuck off," Bakugou growled, chair screeching against the floor as he stood up. "gotta go change my fucking pants now, ugh."

When he got a glimpse of Midoriya's face on his way out, he finally seemed to catch on. He softened a little in his realisation, then slowly his lips crept toward a smirk, eyeing Midoriya's clenched jaw and narrowed eyes.

"You're jealous!" he hissed in Midoriya's ear, leaning in so close that Midoriya could feel his warm breath. "That's what all this is about, isn't it? You're fuckin' jealous of an idiot first-year with a crush on your boyfriend."

"Shut up."

"Fuckin' make me."

Emerald eyes flashed against rubies, and Bakugou's smirk grew a little wider.

"Poor Deku can't handle seeing someone else eye up the merchandise, huh?"

"Shut up."

"Make me."

The challenging gaze between them was broken only by the ringing of the school bell, signalling time for them to get back to class – or in Bakugou and Midoriya's case, to get changed and head to the first-years. Great.

"Let me help you change out of those pants," Midoriya mumbled, as he gathered his trash.

"Are you sure? You don't want me to ask what's-her-face to help me?"

"Fuck you."

"I dare you to."

"Everything alright?" Todoroki asked, dragging them both back into the crowded room at an alarming rate – Midoriya had almost forgotten that people could see them. "Shall we get going?"

"Coming, Todoroki-kun!" Midoriya answered with a false brightness to his tone, flashing him a smile. "Let's go teach!"

Bakugou rolled his eyes, but shouldered his bag all the same, following them out to the locker rooms where he could finally rid himself of his stained trousers. Midoriya watched him as he changed, admiring the way his back muscles moved as he pulled on each piece of his hero costume, as he bent and stretched and fastened.

"You like what you see, nerd?"

Midoriya blushed, turning away to finish pulling on his jumpsuit, hurrying to catch up when he heard the door swing shut. He slung his bag over his shoulder and turned in a hurry, slamming straight into the broad chest and shoulders waiting behind him.

"K-Kacchan," he stuttered. "Thought you left."

"Half-n-half left," he shrugged, as if it answered every question ever known to the universe. "You coming?"

"Y-Yeah!"

Bakugou leaned over, leaving a tiny kiss on Midoriya's curls, and freckled cheeks burned bright red as he stammered, searching for words to answer the conceited little smirk that looked down at him.

"Come on, nerd. You're taking forever."

"Coming!" he squeaked. "Um, thanks!"

"Whatever."

Still flushed, he followed Bakugou out to the hall, meeting up with Todoroki to make the trek out to the training area. Somehow it seemed a little more bearable approaching the group of energetic young teenagers, with the lingering warmth of Bakugou's lips on him, so he wore a smile as they walked through the gates, waving to the students and returning their bright greetings.

"Midoriya-senpai! Spar with us! I think I've come up with a strategy to counter your wind!"

"Oh yeah?" he grinned. "I'd like to see that! Let's go!"

Thoughts of flirty girls fell to the back of his mind as he settled in, working in earnest with the young students who genuinely wanted to work, to improve, to learn. It was such a good feeling, just to be with hard workers and do their own thing. The odd sense of freedom it came with was exactly what Midoriya needed.

"Let me have a turn!"

He sighed, but managed to keep his smile in place, nodding when Tokushima stepped forward to join the group.

"Sure, you can join in! Just let me finish my round with-"

"Bakugou-senpai said you're pretty strong," she cut him off, her smile sickly sweet, her eyes challenging. "Don't go easy on me just because I'm a girl."

"If you want to be a hero, you can't keep assuming everyone will be sexist," Midoriya warned her, his smile fading a little. "I'll go as hard as you do, so give me your best shot."

"You've known him for over two years now, right? I bet he likes strong girls, doesn't he?"

"I highly recommend you stop talking."

A few faces in the group seemed a little stunned by the sharpness to his tone, but Tokushima either didn't notice or didn't care. She rolled up her sleeves, and Midoriya resisted the urge to ask why she ordered a costume with long sleeves if she didn't want them there. Instead he simply spread his stance a little wider, bending his knees to brace himself.

"Whenever you're ready," he told her, struggling to keep up his now much-less-convincing smile.

She ran in like she was going to tackle him, and he didn't bother to move, deflecting her sideways with his forearm as soon as she got close enough. She rolled before she hit the ground, jumping back up behind him, but he threw a foot backwards and knocked her feet from under her, sending her back into the dirt with ease. When the shimmering gas began to appear, her classmates covered their mouths in a hurry, and Midoriya pulled his mask up to help shield himself. He watched her hand dart into her pocket, and when she produced a cheap plastic lighter he couldn't quite hold back a snort of laughter.

The tiny cloud of gas exploded, but Midoriya didn't even stop to acknowledge it, reaching for the girl below him instead. She dove at him again, aiming for his legs this time, and behind his mask he finally let himself frown. For someone who had been at the school for a few months, she really hadn't learned any kind of combat skill.

She slipped off his leg and he kicked her in the side, eyes widening when she shot across the field and slammed into a fence.

"Shit," he muttered, pulling his mask down. "Sorry! Are you okay?!"

For maybe the first time ever, he felt guilty for winning a sparring match. Tokushima curled into a ball, clutching at her side, and when one of her friends reached out to touch her she was immediately yelling and crying.

"What the hell, nerd?" Bakugou hissed in his ear. "You hurt a kid because she has a crush on me?"

"I didn't do it on purpose!" Midoriya insisted, cringing when Bakugou bent down to pick her up, cradling her in his arms. "I'm so sorry, Tokushima!"

"I'll take you to Recovery Girl," Bakugou sighed. "Make sure he didn't break a rib or anything."

"Th-Thank you B-Bakugou-senpai!"

Midoriya cringed as he watched them disappear toward the building, looking sheepish when Todoroki shot him a quizzical look.

"Relax, she's a crybaby," one of the other students assured him. "She just wants his attention."

"But I kicked her pretty hard," he admitted. "I didn't realise I hit her that hard."

"I'm sure you've had worse injuries since you've been here! Is it true that you guys got to fight real villains at summer camp?!"

With an awkward smile, Midoriya nodded, settling in to tell all the shining eyes about their exploits in their first year, and quickly everything was back to normal, aside from the lack of Bakugou. Soon they were heading back to the classroom, bidding their farewells, heading off to get changed before the bell rang. Midoriya bolted when it did, heading to the convenience store for some cheap flowers before he ran down to the nurse's office.

Bakugou was still sitting at her side, and for a moment that made Midoriya breathe a little harder.

"I didn't expect you to be here still," he muttered, as he leaned over to slot the flowers into a vase. "I hope you're okay, Tokushima, I'm sorry I hit you so hard. I didn't mean to."

"It's okay," she assured him. "Bakugou-senpai took good care of me!"

"Yeah. He's good like that," Midoriya agreed through gritted teeth. "Ka-"

Midoriya paused midway through the word, hesitating. As much as he wanted to rub 'Kacchan' in Tokushima's face, he wouldn't be able to restrain himself if she tried to use it too.

"Katsuki," he began again instead, getting a weird side-eye from the man in question. "Have you remembered we need to report in to Aizawa?"

"Shit, yeah," he sighed, climbing out of his chair. "Get some rest, kid. Recovery Girl will take it from here."

"Thanks for the help, Bakugou-senpai! Also Katsuki is a really nice name. You can call me Fuki if you want!"

“I’d rather not.”

The hint was about as subtle as an elephant in a convenience store, but Bakugou ignored it anyway, following Midoriya out to the hall and shoving him lightly the moment the door swung closed behind them.

"Stop being jealous," he reiterated. "It's petty and stupid."

"I know, I know."

Things fell back into a sense of normalcy, the trio gathering to report back to Aizawa, discussing the events and trials and conversations, the things the kids had picked up on and the things they hadn't, until the sun sat low in the sky and he finally waved them away.

"You did a good job," he informed them. "You're officially done with the first-years, get some rest."

It was a relief, knowing things would go back to normal, back to how they'd always been; Bakugou turning girls away without a second thought and Midoriya watching on with a little smile, knowing Bakugou was his and no one could take that away from him.

His peace was broken immediately, and this time he couldn't stifle his very audible groan. Not only was she there again, perfectly intact and unphased despite being in Recovery Girl's office only what, an hour ago? But by her side, waiting with giddy grins on their faces, were all of Bakugou's best friends. They were so damn gleeful about the whole thing, and Midoriya hated himself for resenting them.

"She said I could go home now," Tokushima explained, when Bakugou raised an eyebrow at her. "I just wanted to stop by and thank you again for taking care of me."

Giggling, she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, and immediately Midoriya snapped. Wordlessly he grabbed Bakugou by the arm, dragging him away, ignoring the confused protests behind them and the nervous voices calling after him.

"Enough," Midoriya growled, as he dragged Bakugou into the locker room and slammed him against the wall. "You are mine. Cut it out."

"Make me."

Midoriya jammed their lips together roughly, one hand trailing up Bakugou's shirt as their bodies pressed together, a smirk playing at Bakugou's lips as they moved together. Teeth nipped at Midoriya's lower lip and he opened obediently, letting Bakugou take over his mouth, hands gripping tightly at his hips.

"You wanna go back to the dorms?" he asked, still smirking. "You can show me who I belong to."

Midoriya didn't even dignify it with an answer, tugging at his shirt to drag him out of the empty room and into quiet halls, their footsteps echoing as they hurried back to their residence. Midoriya didn't even bother with the front door, feet bursting with orange lights as he fired them up to the balcony. He threw Bakugou at the bed and dove on top, pinning him to the mattress as their lips met once more.

"Mine," he repeated, as he tore off Bakugou's clingy hero costume and tossed it aside. "You're mine."

On the bedside table sat an unassuming black bottle, and as soon as the two of them laid bare together, he reached for it. One hand roamed Bakugou's taut body, while the other reached between them, coated in lube.

"This chest? Mine." Midoriya whispered, as he slid a finger inside himself. "These abs, these arms, this ass, all mine."

"Yours," Bakugou agreed, watching with a surprising softness as Midoriya opened himself up in a hurry. "Show me."

"You belong to me," Midoriya continued, breathless now as he scissored his fingers, stretching wider. "No one else is allowed to touch. Got it?"

"Yeah," Bakugou smirked. "I won't let anyone touch, baby."

Bakugou's dick waited strong and ready for his touch, and Midoriya didn't disappoint, stroking him a few times to coat him in lube and immediately sinking down onto him with a little hiss.

"Slow down, relax," Bakugou reminded him, reaching up to stroke his hair. "Come on Deku, you know how to do this, take your time."

"Don't want to," Midoriya insisted stubbornly, shifting onto his knees and starting to rise. "I want you. All of you. Now. You're mine, this cock is mine."

"Fuck," Bakugou gasped, as Midoriya slammed back down roughly. "Yes."

"Kacchan is amazing," Midoriya mumbled, as he took up an uneven pace, rising and falling, impaling himself over and over on Bakugou's leaking cock. "So amazing, feel so good."

"You feel good too," Bakugou moaned, tossing his head back and thrusting his hips up to meet Midoriya's movements. "Keep going, Deku. God damn. So good."

"Mmm, more Kacchan! Again!"

Bakugou nodded faintly, but continued to thrust up to meet him, setting a disjointed rhythm with Midoriya that made them both moan, spitting out half-baked sentences and needy whines.

"Fuck. Fuck."

Midoriya smiled faintly when he felt Bakugou fill him up, warm, sticky fluid trickling out between them as Bakugou's hips stuttered, still weakly thrusting at him. He reached out, his hot hand wrapping around Midoriya's shaft, jerking him roughly until he came with a long moan, spilling all over Bakugou's chest and stomach.

"Get down here," he demanded, when Midoriya carefully shifted off of Bakugou's cock. "You still fuckin' jealous?"

"No," Midoriya grinned, falling into Bakugou's side. "Was good, Kacchan. Wanna do it again."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

"Gimme like two minutes then I'll fuck you so hard you can't remember your own name."

Midoriya moaned, quickly biting at his lip to stifle it, and Bakugou cackled.

"You like that, huh, you little shit?"

"Uh-huh."

He rolled over to press Midoriya into the mattress, smirking as he cupped his cheek, calloused thumb running across his jaw.

"Guess I'd better get started, then, huh?"

He pried Midoriya's thighs apart with his knees, seating himself between them, and Midoriya hummed contentedly when he watched Bakugou start to stroke himself. They were already a mess of fluid, but he added a little more lube just in case, contemplating for a moment before he flashed his gorgeous, conceited smirk.

"Roll over."

Midoriya blushed, obeying all the same, positioning himself on his hands and knees before he looked back over his shoulder. Bakugou grabbed him a pillow to rest on and tugged at his thighs again, spreading him wider to get a good view of what he was working with. He pressed on the small of Midoriya's back, pushing him into the pillow and making his back arch, presenting his tight little ass and dripping hole for Bakugou's viewing pleasure.

Just the act of being manhandled into position was getting Midoriya hard again already, his poor dick pressed into the pillows as it waited for attention.

Bakugou barely even got himself in before Midoriya was thrusting back into him, searching for more. He whined when the hand slapped down on his cheek lightly, a warning to control himself, and Bakugou couldn't help but laugh at how pitiable the noise was.

"Kacchaaaaaan," he whined again, wriggling his hips a little, halted by Bakugou's strong hands. "Pleeeaaase?"

"I'm doing it, nerd, relax."

He sat up tall on his knees and began to move, making sure he was in a comfortable position before he began thrusting harder. Immediately Midoriya was moaning, pushing back into his thrusts again, meeting him in the middle with a lewd slapping of fluid and skin. He mumbled under his breath the entire time, but Bakugou had grown used to tuning that out. Only when he reached for Midoriya's cock did he start to hear the words for real, snorting as he began to stroke him in time with their erratic thrusts.

"Amazing Kacchan. So good. Kacchan. Kacchan amazing. Kacchan mine."

The words grew louder when Bakugou stroked him faster, emphasised by moans and gasps, until together they came a second time, spilling their cum all over the sheets.

"Mine," Midoriya gasped, liquid spilled from him, coating Bakugou's hand. "Mine, mine, mine."

"Yours," Bakugou agreed breathlessly, slipping his tired dick out of the puffy hole and conceding his grip on Midoriya's. "All yours."

He fell onto his back, dragging Midoriya into his sweaty side and planting a sloppy kiss on his cheek as they snuggled.

"I don't like it when girls flirt with you," Midoriya grumbled, nuzzling into his neck.

"I couldn't have guessed."

With a little smirk he stroked Midoriya's hair, long fingers combing through unruly green locks.

"I don't even like girls," Bakugou reminded him quietly. "Stupid Deku."

"Do you like me?"

"I'm here, aren't I?"

"Mm... You are. I wanna tell them all."

"Okay."

"Okay?"

"Yeah. It's fine."

Midoriya nodded, pausing for a moment before he cracked one eye open with a cheeky little grin.

"I wanna show them all."

"Do what you want, nerd."

"You have fun last night, Bakugou?" Kaminari snickered, the moment he entered the classroom. "How's that Tokushima chick doing?"

"Haah?"

"Looks like you two had some fun," Ashido grinned, gesturing toward her neck faintly. "I didn't know you had it in you!"

Bakugou scowled, pointing at the dark bruises scattered across his shoulder and neck.

"These?" he asked, as if there was anything else they might possibly mean. "They're from my boyfriend you dumb shits."

For a moment the room fell silent, and Midoriya looked up with a smile. He’d been absorbed in a conversation with Todoroki, but even he seemed curious about this newfound information.

"Boyfriend?!" Ashido demanded. "Since when, Blasty?! This is breaking news, holy shit!"

"Dude, what the hell?" Kaminari asked, eyes wide. "You never told us about a boyfriend!"

"We've been together for fucking ever," Bakugou snorted, falling into his chair casually, as if the entire class wasn’t staring at him like he’d grown an extra head. "You unobservant fucks never even noticed?"

"Who?!"

Their conversation was broken by a familiar face knocking at the open door, and for once Midoriya didn't scowl when he saw her. For once, in fact, he smiled wider.

"Bakugou-senpai, I just wanted to th- Oh my gosh, what happened?! Did you get in a fight?! Are you okay?! Does it hurt?! What hap-" she froze mid question, eyes growing wide, before her face turned a bold shade of scarlet. "A-Are... Are those...?"

"Kacchaaaaan," Midoriya sang, dropping into his unsuspecting lap. “Good morning!”

“M-Morning nerd,” Bakugou blinked at him a few times, but wound an arm around his waist regardless, letting Midoriya snuggle into him happily.

"I've missed our lunch dates lately," Midoriya pouted. "Eat with me today?"

"Whatever. You just had to ask."

Tokushima excused herself in a hurry, almost tripping over her own feet in her haste, and Midoriya couldn't help but giggle as he leaned his head on Bakugou’s shoulder, eyes shining. He smiled like Bakugou was the most amazing person in the world, even when he pinched roughly at a freckled cheek.

"What's gotten into you, nerd?" he demanded. "You're so damn clingy this morning."

"I'm happy, Kacchan!"

"Whatever." He grumbled again, just to prove a point, before he leaned in and planted a kiss on Midoriya's cheek. "Better now, clingy shit?"

"All better!" he confirmed with a grin, returning the gesture. "Thanks Kacchan!"

He settled in comfortably with strong arms holding him close, a warm chest pressed into his back, humming contentedly while he pretended not to notice the twenty pairs of eyes staring at them, watching their every move as they waited for some kind of explanation or a "just kidding!"

"Dude," Kirishima said softly, walking right across the classroom just to clap Midoriya on the shoulder. "Manly as hell, good job."

"Thanks!" he grinned. "Kacchan is the best boyfriend!"

"If you don't mind my asking, uh, was this recent?"

"Huh? Oh! No! We've been dating for like a year!"

He cringed when the class immediately went into an uproar, demanding answers, but when Bakugou glared at him weakly he could only giggle to himself.

"I'm really happy, Kacchan," he grinned, shrinking a little under Bakugou's gaze "I'm happy to finally call you my boyfriend!"

"Whatever, nerd," Bakugou sighed, rolling his eyes. "Me too."

Izuku's smile was justified. He delivered his justice so well! 🤣🤣🤣

Orochimaru

Thank you!! I agree haha, girls who know him would probably be a little put off, but random girls in other classes would absolutely dote on the moody hot boy!

Saysi

I'm glad you approved hahaha. I love me some jealous boys.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH OH MY GOD, I looooove it so much! It was amazing! It’s funny because in almost every fanfic I read, they asume that girls won’t even give the time of day to Bakugou, and I have always disagreed... I have always though it to be like this: him getting offers and confessions and gifts, and being completely annoyed and clueless about it. Thank you so much! I really really really loved it. Urg, it’s one of my favorites :3
