Yes! You most certainly *have* gotten a lot better at expressing visuals and gameplay systems in words -- not that any of you were ever bad at it. It's a thought I have pretty often listening to this show, actually. To me, unironically, that's one of the peaks civilization can aspire to: the freedom and security to speak earnestly, deeply, enthusiastically about things that "don't matter" for thousands of hours. It's the froth, the frosting on top that's worth living for. The cake is just made out of basic needs being met and bombs not going off every minute (not especially tasty in and of itself, but necessary as a foundation), and frosted cake should be ours as a matter of course in 2024.
