Reviving The Old Model Because..Hair Physics/Facial Animations

Will be reviving the old Ashley model because Daz models (while great) tend to be rather difficult/limiting to fully control when making a game.

When working with one, I've run into lots of problems. The latest one being me trying to implement Foot IK to the model. Foot IK is when you step on an object, one foot stands higher than the other creating a natural difference between the legs, when one leg stands higher "with the knee bending" than the other, when standing on a rock with one foot for example. Also useful when stepping/walking over dead npc's rather than stand in their corpse like they aren't there. I suppose that's something you'd be willing to do, I know I do.😏

Something else that's difficult to do is give a Daz model facial animations that work with Unreal. I used to think it'd be easy especially since facial animations are being done on the regular with Daz models, but no, the setup of the bones is completely different in Daz than it is in UE, so you'll be spending ages getting that to work

The next problem with Daz models in UE is the hair, not sure if it's because of the super high quality Daz hair has but when you try to use physics on it, the hair breaks your computer. I mean, my computer was smelling like burned plastic after that ordeal. 

The last problem with Daz models is clothes, you just can't animate the clothes and if you can there isn't any tutorial out there that's of any use. 

So..without boring you any further with technical details, I present to you, old model Ashley upgraded. She's based on one of my photo's so she kind of looks like me. So I'll be doing all the kicking and trampling of faces.πŸ˜‚

The new upgraded model of Ashley has, facial animations that work, potential for hair physics, clothing physics and is Unreal Engine Ready, meaning the Foot IK will be compatible with the model.

I won't implement her in the demo versions yet because she still needs some work/polishing. 

But she'll be available in the real version of the game when I'm done polishing the demo, adding some more mechanics to ready myself for the fun that comes next.
