Patreon Fees + Reward Changes

First, about the fee structure changes that Patreon was going to make. The good news is that they have decided NOT to go through with it. This means that the processing fee will remain on creators and will not be shifting to patrons. They still need to address the problems they were trying to fix on the back end, but this time I hope they can work with both patrons and creators to find a more agreeable solution.
Next, I have decided that starting in 2018 I will be changing how I distribute the $5+ wallpaper rewards. I currently direct message them to eligible patrons, but starting in January I will simply be uploading them as a locked reward post. This method is more in sync with what most creators do and will streamline distribution, so I feel it's a good move.
I haven't decided if I'll create an archive of the past wallpapers or not, as those were distributed under different conditions and I don't want to upset the receivers of them. But if past patrons are okay with a full archive, just let me know!

I haven't received this month's wallpaper even though I am pretty sure my payment went through. Could this be part of that change thing they were trying to do or???

2017-12-30 19:02:30 +0000 UTCThanks for the update. I know I don’t mind new patrons getting old rewards. They are supporting you now so who really cares if the didn’t back then. Just as FYI one of the other artists I support has previous work as a reward for a higher tier. Once a month we get to select one of his older works from before we joined. Either way works. It should be about supporting people not bogarting work.
