I’ve been wanting to figure out a character sheet style that I can plausibly offer as a commission, and I think I’ve found it, just two good poses and a bunch of detail shots with all the important bits. Also been reconnecting with a lot of old feelings and memories, and thought it might help me a bit with that to resurrect my first fursona from about 2007, a red kangaroo, who was femme before I even knew what transgender meant. I was 13 years old and drew her, just felt right though I didn’t understand why!

I’ve got the OG art somewhere, will try and find her soon when I can sift through all my old drawings. Been a bit of a disconnect too between who I am now after everything and who I wish I still could be, and ‘roo here is the latter with no pain or wheelchair or anything just bouncing around looking for fossils and camping under the stars, while Vex the Shiba Inu is the former, stuck indoors like an apartment dog but still happy enough, doing her art and enjoying the pleasures of life. Feeling more whole again with the two. <3

About 6 hours to draw this. Very doable. Anyway here’s my deranged kangaroo self, gotta love blending authentic ‘roo anatomy into anthro lmao.
