“A yinglet is a rather remarkable creature, so magically simple that it requires only a few basic runes to keep it in certain permanent states without any need for the typical maintenance of a fully functional creature. As any good sorceress quickly learns, magic is more than enough to keep something alive as long as it doesn’t squirm around too much.
Quite functional too! Especially for those with a discerning eye for organic curves.
Care is simple, polished on the metal, combed or brushed on the fur to get the dust out, wax removed periodically by plucking it, and then carried back to the cupboard, set inside and close the door with a thunk and a click from the lock, leaving it there with just the barest crack of light from the pantry lights and the rest of the tableware for company. It can wiggle its fingers and toes a bit I guess, and the tip of the tail might keep it fairly occupied…
A few days? A week? Two? Who knows, but it WILL be back out, eventually. A soul bound statement piece is a rather well kept item after all. And soon all the stately manors and costly houses will want one of their own.
But you?
You aren’t going anywhere…
… now how will you serve~?”

Last of what I owed to Lenora from my backlog, been wanting to try yinglets again and wanted to try something with a historical vibe, and she made the mistake of giving me crate blanche on it, so a still life came to mind. <3
…. And me being me it turned into this~
Rather happy with the contrasting textures here!
(If she squirms or vibrates enough to spill even a single drop of that wax on the food, I may be forced to take more drastic measures)
Edit Sept. 22: Felt like Lenora needed to experience some sensory deprivation… so made. Two alts to accomplish that goal~
