Here are some favorites from my latest honeybee shoot. This time, I wanted to listen more closely to the bees, to their stories and the stories of their keepers. I am so happy - beyond beelief - for the entire process of creating this art with attuned friends, and with the help of a very special beekeeper.
When we fear something, we forget its sentience and importance. When we turn away from the bees - or any beings - we miss the opportunity to protect and befriend them. When we remember we can be safe, coexist, and even play, we begin to honor their crucial role in the very turning of this Earth. As a lover of all nature, I hope to bridge the worlds of plants, animals, people and the digital hive- inspiring curiosity, immersion and awe through an altaring experience for those who choose to portal with me and for those who choose to witness it.
