Good audio. It sounds like the surgery that the person had, limited their movement, which would take a toll on the psyche. Getting back to normal is a big priority for people after that type of surgery, and relying on people for help, does not help their psyche. The situation, I think, was handled well. Difference paths/ways (depends on the person) that the audio could have gone, were the laundry being brought to them to help fold. Or just encouraging them to enjoy the little/mundane things, stuff you usually overlook. It creates distraction, which helps get out of the negative headspace.
