Also its so creepy how the Egans/Lumon taught everyone such formal speech ("woe" instead of sad, " fealty" instead of loyalty, just so many unusual word choices). But when Milichick spoke the same way, he was criticized during his job review ( such obvious racism).

2025-03-09 19:11:25 +0000 UTCThis one was so unusual. I didn't love it, but I like it more watching it back. I think Cissy is Harmony's aunt ( mom's sister). It's obvious Lumon indoctrinated everyone when the factory came to town. Harmony went to an Egan school. The kids were so young and impressionable, Hampton and Harmony became workers, too. I wonder if Harmony's mom hated Lumon because she saw through the act early on? Or maybe she was also part of the cult, but she lost Harmony's father ( like a factory accident?) and it made her turn away from it? I feel like I need to go back and look at Harmony's shrine. Whatever happened, Harmony was devout but we saw in S1 that she started breaking rules in order to see about Mark/Cold Harbor and it seemed like she was testing Mark's severance. Because she *is* brililiant, she knew re integrating was possible, even though the board wasn't listening. I wonder if she will go back to Helena to "plead forgiveness" to get her new job so she can get back inside.
