I think that Daniel's defenses of Brittany here and attempts to cover up with the victim were based on shock, an inability to understand it as real and inability to truly accept it. Even though he heard her say part of what she did, I don't think it had truly sunken in and become real. If it had, he wouldn't have acted this way.

Since I'm new, this may have been covered elsewhere, but I'm wondering if you'd ever put captions on the sections of your videos that are particularly hard to hear? Usually it's the interview settings I struggle with. I realise this is an extra step but just thought I'd mention it. Otherwise love your work!

He is just starting to process everything, likely in a state of shock and doesn't know what to believe.
