Thoughts, Feedback and Ideas for my Patreon in 2022

SO- it's a brand new year and it'd be good to check in with you all with a post where you can share your thoughts and opinions regarding my art and Patreon.
A LOT of new people joined the Patreon at the end of last year so this is a good spot for new people to share any ideas!
I'm always looking to improve my Patreon in ways that can both work for me as well as you. I've found that it's best to get the perfect balance of both. After all, I'm no art machine so I can't do every idea!
Let me know what you like / dislike about my Patreon, the sort of content you'd like to see more of or whatever other thought's youve got :^)
Main Thoughts / Ideas / Goals for 2022
- I'd like to introduce the Gold tier but not as a sketch request tier. I currently have very few ideas of what the tier could introduce without it being just a new way for you to support me further if you'd like. Let me know if you've got some ideas for perks for this tier!
- I'd like to try do some more Short Comics this year. Not necessarily focusing on my main OCs but on new original ideas I'd like to come up with. These would done for fun as well as practise for when I return to doing a main comic series.
- Monthly Art Polls have slowly become not-so-monthly. I hope this wont affect your overall Patreon experience as I'll still be doing just as much art with or without a poll being run. I will still do polls whenever I'd be feeling up for running one be it for Fanart or OC stuff.

Personally I think I've almost found a sweet spot with how I run my Patreon. But I'm always happy to hear new ideas for it.

I've been supporting on and off for a bit, but I'd definitely upgrade to the Gold Tier if there were more uncensored pieces.

2022-01-09 02:45:50 +0000 UTCI agree the Gold tier should be for the polls. I also think that any future "more than lewds" like the Marcy Satmon sale celebration pic should be in that tier. But then I can see the Gold tier people trying to pressure you into more content of that nature and it being a possible stressor. I would be down to put in more money for the bondage type stuff to go a little harder, but I appreciate your art style and your OC lore direction more than my need for the top tier drawings you make to go even lewder/nuder. Maybe make Gold tier be the ONLY people capable of requesting nude/more than lewd commissions? Obviously on top of other rewards, and only if within your comfort zone.

I'm also glad it won't interfere with your current process. I like that you do what you want. I'm excited for the comics you have in mind. Always a fan of those and original content.

2022-01-04 17:17:02 +0000 UTCFor the gold tier, you could have one perk be a sort of "Choose your own adventure" pic set where votes cast by members of the gold tier determine the outcome of a short story. That, or behind-the-scenes note about how you come up with certain characters, designs, etc. If you've already done something like that, my mistake. But it'd be cool if one tier allowed for an even closer look at the creative machinations of your art. I'd be absolutely down to see some of those short comics you have cooking. Not that I don't miss reading SATMON, but stretching your creative muscles and focusing on shorter narratives could be a good starter for when you're trying to write longer comic stories later on. While I do hope to see more bondage art from ya, I know that's not the ONLY thing your art is about. Maybe make little stories out of that too, over multiple pics? Like Liz demonstrating the various kinds of gags on Marcy as an "educational program," or the two interacting with other bondage OC's from other artists...with said artists' permission of. Other than that, you are on a roll! I'm sure there's a thousand other things I could say, but I'll cut it off here for now.

2022-01-04 16:16:33 +0000 UTCOh yeah, as a bonus, you could probably also make some other material, such as step-by-step guides and tutorials on how to do certain things people are curious about, such as how you color, character anatomy, etc. This would probably require some effort to do, but I would probably hold a poll on it or something to see if it's worth trying out

This would probably fit better for the $5 tier or something, but it's a good benefit, especially for artists looking to improve their skills by following your example

2022-01-04 15:55:48 +0000 UTCI would just say whatever you do, introduce any new rewards slowly to make sure you don't get overwhelmed/burnt out. In my experience, most people on here aren't super transactional and don't even really pay super close attention to rewards - e.g., half the people who pay me for the privilege of adding characters to polls don't even use it. For the most part they'll be happy to support you as long as you give them *something* and stay decently active, so just do what you feel most comfortable with.
