Nice, not Kind 🙅🏻♀️
Added 2021-03-02 03:35:24 +0000 UTCIt was only recently I really learned the true meanings behind nice vs. kind. To me, nice is more about pleasing others while kind is putting genuine action to helping and supporting others. When I moved around schools, I got a clearer picture of who my fake friends vs. true friends were. My fake friends acted nice around me until their other friends judged them for being with me, and then would act as if I never existed. Being in this limbo of fake friendships became so exhausting, I ultimately preferred to just be alone and work on myself and my art (which honestly did not have a bad turnabout afterall lol).
