I am going to attempt to pick the winner for the Men's Street Skateboarding event on July 25th, 2021.
Skateboarding was a huge part of my life from the ages of 14-22 years of age, and I really wanted skateboarding to be my career, however, ankle injury after ankle injurie prevented me from reaching any realistic potential, the farthest I got was riding flow for circa footwear (it goes from flow, amateur, then pro), a local board shop sponsor which was cool, and a couple of contests wins mixed in with a lot of great memories, travel, and mischief.
If there is one thing you can not script, it's skateboarding. There are no magnets in the boards, rails, or shoes. Some of the most horrific injuries' in skateboarding comes from bails so no skater is intentionally trying to bail on a trick. And at the end of the day, you still have to land your trick to win and even the most talented pro's on earth aren't 100% perfect 100% of the time.
That doesn't mean that skateboarding doesn't have occultism within it, I mean, the most famous young pro today, Nyjah Houston, has a big ass All Seeing Eye tattoo on his neck. And just look at some of the logo's for skate companies, it's obvious where it all stems from symbolically.

And one of the biggest Skateboarding stars Nyjah Houston, who will be in the streets competition for the USA in the Olympics, just released his new board company and this is his promo pic, and we all know why we can only see one of his eyes, and why his brand is called "Disorder" with a Skull on it and a cross symbol for a logo.

The crazy part is though, you still have to be able to land a kickflip back side lipside down a 10 stair hand rail in the streets regardless of whether you are an occultist or not, without breaking your body doing it.
You just can't "script" skateboarding.... but I am going to try and find out.
