Despite the valid reasoning, he did hurt Nero and the others have every right to be cautious around him and the others from his Mouth, even though they did apologize. However, it's more likely that it's the realization of Nero's mortality that's getting to her. Until now, they haven't faced any severe threats that they haven't overcome. But now, Runi is faced with the fact that her wolfkiller brother is just as fragile as any other deer.
