The inhabitant of the land does not guess that they saw the scouts and guards of the ancient sea tribe.

This is not one creature and not a dozen "strange fish", this is one of the most ancient peoples of the Signum. Their life and society are primitive, but Tribe of Tide see no reason to complicate what works. Previously, the wisdom of shamans and the endurance of each seafolk saved their people from any enemies. But after the Cataclysm, the world has changed too much. Those who live in close connection with nature have felt this most acutely.
The wild energy of Chaos and sinister emanations from the Abyss have penetrated Signum. They spread through the air, creating a pestilence. They spread across the land, killing the guardians of the forests and defiling the spirits of nature.
