I think this post is hilarious, I laughed out loud when I read it, and honestly, this is how I see most news decodes as well.
I've made a handful of youtube videos over the years explaining why I think most News Story Decodes are probably pure bunk and untrue.
Unlike sports decodes which has an immediate Win-Loss factor at the end of the decode to determine whether you were right or wrong with your numbers.
I've spent over 2 years showing everyone publicly for free on youtube how easy it is to make a convincing numerical narrative for both sides of every single game, as well as, even 4 or 5 up to 20 different narratives' for Golf, Horse Racing, or NASCAR. But at the end of the day only 1 winner can be crowned which means any and all number connections to the contrary was just pure bunk.
Decoders will pick a sports game and get it wrong but do a news story decode that same day and think their news decode is 100% correct 100% of the time without any errors or failure, even though their sports decodes tells them other wise. In fact, some can't even admit when they get a sports game wrong so you can throw the idea of them admitting that news decodes aren't 100% - 100% of the time out the truth window.

Kobe isn't going to effect sports outcomes until the end of time. But an anniversary of say an Astroworld may for one or two games. Looking at Rockets win/loss narrative for tomorrow is probably a good idea.
