Pick Preview Videos Scheduling

Hey everyone!!

Just wanted to let you know where I am at with pick preview videos. I won't have anything, video-wise, until the month of July, most likely after the 4th of July, but maybe sooner, depending on the new laptop I have purchased.

My current laptop I am on now has slowly been falling apart as of October last year. I haven't been able to actually close my laptop because if I do the screen will split apart (I can't travel with it because I can't close it). The sides of the laptop are coming undone and the backing is falling off. On top of that, lately, the battery has been going out. Last month the most I was able to get it charged to was 7%. This month it's been 5%, however, this week, it's now down to a 3% charge with it plugged in. So it's about to power out on me any day now.

With that said, I purchased a new laptop last night, something I didn't want to do but kind of was forced to. I am going to try and make money with it though so hopefully it evens itself out over time. I went ahead and let my StreamYard subscription expire this month and will resign once I get my new computer next week, estimated delivery of Tuesday - Thursday of next week (June 27-29).

I went with the HP Victus gaming laptop because it seems to pack a bit of a punch for the under 1000$ price tag. Every computer I compared for 48 hours straight has something wrong with it, hopefully, this is the lesser of evils that are currently out there. The laptop I have now is HP and lasted 5 years up until now so hopefully this one will do the same. Even though I don't game like that really, it'll be a step up in power and processing from the computer I have now and will allow me to do my video and photo editing with ease with the new AI tech that is currently out there. I made sure to buy 32 GB of ram to install with it, a total of 750$ for everything (uuugggh I hate spending money sometimes).

Honestly, I am hoping to write this off on my taxes next year, but only if I get my photography business off the ground this summer. Outside of doing stuff for the local paper with sports and local events, I've had a few people ask me to take their portraits this summer, one dude asked if I can create a music video/Instagram music reels for him and his music, as well as, photographing a wedding in October, so if I can get some photography income coming in I should be able to write this purchase off..

Summers tend to be slower in comparison to the rest of the year. I am just not a big fan of MLB because it's just so hard and 50/50 most of the time. It's my worst sport by far in comparison to the rest when looking at my picking record overall. But I am still doing it, kind of. And of course UFC, but that is only once a week. Thank you for sticking around. NFL action is right around the corner.
