2023-08-10 23:46:33 +0000 UTCI totally understand! I've been discovering these characters as I write, and this felt right for me, and like something they would enjoy doing. My personal philosophy - and this is just me, not a comment on morality - is that there are many ways for a story to be wholesome, and I think characters trying things out in a positive and caring environment is one of those ways. I also think there are many ways something like this can go. It can become something that is tried and never done again and be a learning moment. It can be a source of conflict or pain. It could be a new normal. I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that the story is a love story between the MC and Laura, and not Jo!
