this song really should not have taken as long as it has to finish but the unfortunate reality is that this year has been extremely slow with music for me. ive struggled with task management my whole life but for whatever reason in recent years it has very negatvively impacted my music making, which used to be the only thing i was atualy capable of being somewhat organazed and responsible for. and especially this year and or whatever reason these recent months have just been debilitating me. i didnt even work on ANYTHING the entire month of september and much of august after I released that recen Trhä album, and knowing that ih ave soooo many other sadness ongs (and other projects) to finish doesnt make anything easier. this is all due to my severe ADHD that probably has not paired well with the stresses of the latest years in my life. anyway this song is called "pretty face and its about exactly that and wanting to hold the beauty not only in my own hands but also in my own experience. i started making this song as soon as i watched that one barbie movie about the rockstar and princess summer camps and the two barbies got switched cause the song she sings at the beginning has that same chord progressing and everything and i loved it so much.
