in the distant travels, guitar # 1 demo (live arrangement)

this song was a disaster when we performed it because my cables got disconnected somewhere in my pedal chain, it wasnt until the next song that i was able to fix it, so my guitar was just lost during this song, it was hugely annoying. anyway this is what you were SUPPOSED to hear (coming from me). for the set there were 3 guitars. guitars 2 and 3 are fully tabbed out for the other guitarists to learn , so in the folder you can find tabs (not well organized, but there nonethe less) for each individual section, also at times video demonstrations by me of how to play the songs. my parts aren't tabbed out because i dont use tabs, i only tabbed them for the other members to make it easier to learn. and i'll continue to do this for any future musicians i work with, but i otherwise am not interested in tabs whatsoever and i actually dont like them at all they are tedious to write, but it was worth it in the end. so my guitar parts (for any songs) are not tabbed but at least i can show videos of me playing them. i will probabbly make another video later that's more clear, and if you guys comment saying you want one i can make a video of me actually demonstrating slowly with verbal instructions how to exactly play each part. otherwise this is just a playthrough with natural mistakes and my right hand is covered so it might be hard to really see what's going on. anywhere here is the folder that all the other members used for learning :

the tuning im using here is E flat standard (g string [string 4, if counting from lowest first, is tuned to a G {so half step up from standard}]) and with a capo on the first fret. without the capo you would transpose down one fret and tune in E standard with the G string as an A flat. but the reason im using the capo is because i planned the tunings and capo placements for all of the songs in the set, so for the most part we wouldn't retune the guitars entirely and mostly just move the capo around. each guitar is different though and it all had to do with each guitar part and the tuning each one is in for every song. Guitar 2 was in E flat standard with the capo on fret one, and guitar three was in drop C with the capo on fret one

This is wonderful, I hope you can continue to find the time to do this for other songs too!
