Happy New Year, 2024!!

Hey, all!

So, 2024 is here! 2023 was a year of adjustment and surprise - when we started looking for a new home in January, we hadn't expected to move out by the end of February. The whole process cut into a lot of time in the early part of the year, lol. It kind of threw everything off-kilter.

I wouldn't say 2023 was bad for me, but it presented its challenges. I had set up a lot of goals for myself, and while I hadn't really expected to get to them all, I can't help but be disappointed that I barely touched them until later in the year - and worse, I somehow added more to it, lol.

So far, my goals for 2024 are:

• Sunset! I 100% want to work on Sunset while Twilight is finishing up. I don't think this is going to be a hard task, as Sunset isn't going to be as difficult to wrangle as Twilight was - at least, I hope so. It's going to be a slower-paced story, but it's also the end of the arc, and I have had that ending in my mind for a while already. Twilight is just about half over, and it's got some bonus content I'm sure you guys will find interesting :P
• Depending on how easily Sunset goes, I will use the remaining time to work on the followup novella, which bridges the gap between The Great Journey and Omen of the Stars - I genuinely do not know whether or not I will actually be doing Omen of the Stars, but I will proceed as if I am. I may also start work on Sandstorm's Wander, and I do plan on circling back to that Starlight comic.
• I would like to devote some more time to my original projects, like Otherworld, Raven's Eye, or the Knights and Necromancy/Magehunter universe, which is probably new to some of you - it's a collection of stories based on the WoW RP between myself, my partner, and my friends. I've been working on the worldbuilding, essentially tearing down the WoW universe and stripping it for parts so that these stories and characters can stand on their own. There's just about as much there as in Otherworld already!
• NaNo - I would like to do more NaNo this year! But that's in November, so we'll get there when we get there!
• I want to work on myself this year - better health, better mind, all that jazz. 
• As always, I'll be working on art. Whether its commissions, concept work, or just dumb scribbles, I'll be attempting to keep growing in that direction as well - though I really don't have any goals for the year beyond what I've already stated.

2024 isn't even here yet, so we'll see what happens! It's a big year for me, I'll be turning 30 - so it's equal parts very daunting and exciting! I'm going to try and go into it with my head up and hopes high.

The world is a scary place, and it just keeps getting scarier, in ways big and small. All I can do is hope that things will get better and do what I can to make it so - not just for me, but for all of you, too. Seriously, your support has always meant the world to me, and it always will. Thank you all for coming this far with me.
