So this is a fairly unknown Canadian singer, but I know her because her song "In the night" was the first digital audio I ever bought. I loved this series of covers and when I saw her on it I had to listen. And holy boy did she ever play the FUCK out of this song. Sorry Ted, I think I like this better.
Anyway, we're cold here now. I'll be working on files, as I do, and some shorts/books for next year. How ya all doin/what are you listening to? Remember, take care!

Can't stay doomy and gloomy forever though that's not helpful. Went on a baking frenzy: banana bread, cinnamonrolls, tiramisu brownies, apple pastries, many, many muffins. I also impulse bought a godzilla humidifier while I was feeling little. I try not to spend money while I'm feeling small for obvious reasons, but tbh I'm pretty excited about that coming in! He lights up and breathes smoke out his mouth I mean come on. It's a quality of life purchase my mental health is going to be drastically improved by his presence. I'm going to a drag show tomorrow night so super hyped for that! Hope y'all have good weekends (:

But more importantly, it rained for the first time in weeks and finally put an end to the wildfires that have been plaguing us for the last month or so. It's been very unsettling to leave my house in the mornings and be greeted by the persistent smell of smoke with no idea where it is coming from, 0/10 do not recommend. On the music front, what I do recommend is Sophie Hunter, particularly this little jam that has been a favorite for my car karaoke sessions of late.
