Upcoming Voice Poll: Fire Emblem Three Houses
Added 2019-06-18 15:40:33 +0000 UTCHello everyone, including those new Patrons who have joined up in the past day! I have a Very Important (TM) decision to make, and after banging my head on the desk trying to decide which way to go, I thought...who better to ask for guidance than my Patrons!
Here's the deal. I'm a big fan of the Fire Emblem series, and next month the new game comes out. I wasn't doing voice stuff back when the last game came out and I felt like I missed my shot to really give it a go. Now with Three Houses coming out and a confirmed time skip I am comfortable picking a major character in the Fire Emblem series to become a regular voice of mine.
So I ask...
Dimitri?
Or Claude?
In regards to their voices, Dimitri is a darker/deeper voice that I'll have to work a bit harder at to get right. Claude's on the other hand is a pretty vanilla protagonist voice that I would feel really comfortable with.
Now I know what you might be thinking. WHY NOT BOTH? And honestly I'd rather pick one and do a lot of content for the one rather than spread myself thin. I already have a lot of characters in rotation and it's tough trying to keep them in the mix as it is, so doing both (and getting the artwork + template done for them) is a lot. Not saying it wouldn't ever happen, but I'd like to get a good idea of which one to prioritize and turn into a project.
So...what say you?

I voted Dimitri cause Claude kiiiiinda looks Leon-esque with his facial hair. I’m going into this so blind. And I sorta have a weakness to blondes. I loved the last two games so I know I’ll like this one.

I just don't know if there's a ton of utility with that character. So let's say I wanted to make 10 audios. I could easily see me coming up with enough content for Claude, whereas I'll probably have to work a little harder with Dimitri. Which I would do if he was the more popular of the two, but that's why I wanted to ask you all! Thank you for your help!
