Its nice that Al didnt get jealous at the idea of Seth checking the listener out after the confrontation. The fact that he even goes on to say “its okay to be flattered” is very touching. There’s trust and intimacy implied there, especially now and how bad it could have gone. I dunno, I lve always hated the “NO ONE but ME can look at my partner” trope. Like, if you think they’re cute why cant others?
