Essential Waddler (Mini Story)

Cierra woke up with a groan as she rolled out of bed and squeezed her 400 pound body into her shower. As the water cascaded off of her wide, blubbery body, she tried in vain to hype herself up for the day.

In a time where the Covid-19 quarantine has shut down most businesses, she had the displeasure of working in a retail store and was considered an "essential worker," meaning that her she had to work the register and deal with rude stay-at-home moms while the rest of the world stayed at home. Cierra often considered using some of her sick leave to take a day off, but was too scared that she might actually get sick and need it then. After getting out of the shower, she ate an entire box of cereal for breakfast before getting dressed and heading out for her job.

She's drove up to the store where she worked, but the parking lot of was full of panic buyers today, with a line of customers almost half a mile long as one of her co-workers let them in one at a time. Cierra groaned as she realized that she would get stuck in a crappy parking spot today. She typically parked right near the entrance where she didn't need to walk very far but she knew she was in for a workout today.

She looked at the end her store's gigantic lot and found a space near the back almost a full acre away from the main building. Shuffling out of the car, she begun the long march to clock in for the day. For anyone else, this would be a minor inconvenience but for Cierra, it was like having to jog a marathon just to get to work. The hot sun beat down on her pale, fat body. Her bloated thighs burned from soreness and chafing as she slowly waddled through the busy, car filled space. She felt her oversized belly, breasts and ass bounce up and down with every step, adding to the the difficultly she had in walking such a distance.  Her sweat caused her clothes to stick to her body and caused her pants and panties to ride up her cavernous butt crack, giving her the worst wedgie she had ever had. Her began audibly panting halfway through as this was the most physical effort she had done in years.

She reached the building almost half an hour after her shift was supposed to begin, having to go around to back entrance where an assistant manager stood by to check the temperature of every employee before allowing them into the store. As the exhausted Cierra approached, her superior pointed his no-contact thermometer at her heated, sweaty forehead.

"101 degrees?!" The assistant manager said with as she backed off six feet from her. "I'm sorry but you have to go home. Take two weeks off and contact us then."

Cierra began to explain why her body seemed overheated but her tired body convinced her to just roll with it. However, as she prepared to go home to enter self quarantine, she realized that she had to walk back to her car and began quietly sob as she began the arduous trip back to her vehicle.
