Happy Spookyween! This is my first monthly music recommendation write up for Patreon! I hope that you find some good music from this that you might not have heard before and it might give you some insight into my own personal music tastes which can range A LOT from popular to obscure!

That being said obviously the holiday season is in swing and that means a lot of the music is gonna follow the theme of the season. 

First off the new music I’ve listened to recently and enjoyed a lot. 

Did you know that Dorian Electra came out with a new album a WHOLE YEAR AGO and i completely missed it?!?!?! Well it finally came across my radar recently and man… Idolize is a great track. If you like electronic music that bends bender norms this is a great listen!

I’ve heard a lot of music by Delegation (I listen to a lot of that good soul train music lol) but I had never listened to the album Eau de Vie before! If you’ve ever heard the song You and I then you already know the album is great but I really enjoyed it!

I’ve also listened to a lot of Willie Colon lately. His song Oh Que Sera is one of my absolute favorite Latin songs I’ve ever heard, there’s something about it that’s so refined and romantic! It’s a viral tiktok song so maybe you’ve heard it before but if you haven’t heard the whole song his spoken word verse to open the song is fantastic.

Now for some more weirdo “raised by the internet” stuff

“What is ?” makes a lot of cool ambient jazzy album mixes and they are great for background listening or mood setting. I’ve been listening a lot when the sun goes down and the darkness starts to set in if I’m working late hours on stuff and need some company. My favorite listen right now is (a). sip (b). intoxicated.

I recently found someone who makes really smooth 00s internet nostalgia beats and they’re named prod. Inuyasha! I listened to (free) frutiger aero + wii menu type beat ~ “2012” and as soon as I saw it it took me right back to the late 00s watching anime on my shitty little 120p slide out keyboard phone lmao

For this month I’m gonna be keeping a steady rotation of autumn folksy music and different metal variants. So these are my recommendations for this month and things I’m going to be listening to!
