November Music Recs!

Hi everyone! Time to share my music that I listened to this month (again because somehow the one I painstakingly wrote up and posted got immediately deleted and now I have to write the entire thing again from scratch haha fun!)

First I wanna share this RARE thanksgiving track I found years and years ago and always listen to when the time comes around again. Alice's Restaurant Massacree by Arlo Guthrie, a legendary folk singer. This song has it all (which makes sense since you can fit a lot into 18 minutes) and if you like songs with fun absurd plot this is a great listen!

My favorite K-pop song of the month (and I only listened to like 3 or 4 this time :S) was by far aespa's Whiplash. Every once in a while SM Entertainment actually gives aespa a GOOD song to perform instead of whatever movie soundtrack AI concept bullshit they usually try and make these girls suffer through. And this is by far the best one. They look great in the music video they sound phenomenal, it's dripping with personality and it's one of my favorite songs by them.

Tyler, the Creator released his new (kind of surprise) album Chromakopia at the end of October and once I listened to the harmonies on St. Chroma I knew it's be a good listen. Is it quite as conceptually tight and unique? No, Igor still holds that title, but this will go alongside his more introspective works brilliantly.

Latin music! I. Love. Latin. Music! A cornertone of our community and our country (USA). I have a personal background that's tightly intertwined with our hispanic community and learning about latin music has taught me so much about my past, their past, and a part of my world I didn't feel so connected to before. Que Locura Enamorarme De Ti by Eddie Santiago is the exact kind of smooth upbeat salsa music I enjoy the most.

And for no reason in particular I've been listening to Fck Off Nazi Punks by the Dead Kennedys. I'm sure that Punk will be making a timely comeback and when it does remember, Right Wingers aren't Punk and never will be! smile*

Sorry for writing it loose and wild this time but I writing things a second time reminds me of accidentally losing essay files back in school and having to rewrite pages and pages of it so in an effort to save myself that pain I threw this one together! Next month will be more with the writing and less with the exasperation!
