State of the Goonion Address 03-25-2025

Hi Geki!!!!!

Minimal updates this week, due to some other not audio related work, all the stuff I talked about last week will have to be pushed back a bit. I’m going to be away from home until Aril 3rd and away from my editing work space. Once I get back I’ll have a long time to work on audios so my goal is to get some consistent uploads for the next few months!

I hope you all enjoyed the audio collab I was a part of that was posted to GWA yesterday! Cari, Mel, and Selene from The Nymph Grove are great organizers and members of the audio community, it was so much fun to join in on the project both to voice and edit. So if you enjoy straight content and haven’t checked it out yet please give it a listen!

Something I will be able to work on away from home, is polls! I’m just about done with planning out the month of April so there should be a handful of things to vote on in a couple days! I hope you like the choices I’m providing for next month. I’m glad I was able to come up with a way to let Geki choose what they want to hear but also be able to make what I want. I learned a lot from the first few rounds of poll audios and I think this way will be much better for everyone!

I’m not sure if i’m going to be able to do the April Fool’s Day content I was planning but if not thats okay i’ll just do it next year and I’ll be able to work on making it better for a whole year. Sorry for getting y’all excited and then not being able to do it 😔

One last thing, in the recent lore audio I teased some more irl content. That’s still well on its way to happening. I don’t wanna give too many specifics yet since I’m still nailing down the details on how I want to do it but I’ll have more to share soon. It will include nsfw content too. I’m trying to come up with a lore explanation for how to work that in and I want to try and strike a balance between including irl content for people that are curious, while maintaining the lore and the Ichi character as a seperate thing for those that don’t want the immersion to be broken. It’s a little tricky 😅 But i’m sure i’ll find a way! I feel like when people start doing irl content, it’s important to make sure that the boundaries are reinforced. When you make irl content the lines start to blur and it’s important to me that everyone understands I want to keep my identity completely seperate from the character I’ve created with the audio universe.

Anyways rant over, thank you all for your understanding and for being respectful of my wishes when it comes to how I want my work and myself to be perceived. It’s important to me to have control over that. But i’m excited to share more of myself in a way I feel comfortable with! ❤️
