Hey everyone, it's that time again: Early-Access update for the month of May!
I took your feedback from the survey seriously and implemented a lot (even though I planned it anyway^^) for this update.
I've rarely been so enthusiastic about an update. :D
Important:
1. BETA-Users: There have been some bigger improvements from BETA to Early-Access as I've planned. Mostly because I found a bug in the default game for the Chinese League. (Seems to be a new one with 22.4) More on that later.
2. A new test-save (with all Early-Access-files) will be uploaded during the weekend. It's currently in 2023, but I want to wait until at least 2025 :)
Updated files:
- League reputation changes
- Alternative youth rating
- Club reputation
- Youth and training facilities
- Salaries, market values and sponsors
- Ticket Price adjustments
- Worldwide Award fixes
- Club Data fixes
New files:
- National team attendances
- Player salaries adjustments
- Chinese league file
Overall, there are 5 major changes:
1. The player salaries in many lower leagues of big nations were completely unrealistic (far too high). In the third or even fourth division in Spain over 300k/year. In Brazil's third division as well. In reality, salaries are around 50-100k (maximum). Germany is almost worse there. Clubs all go bankrupt from the 3rd league down because the interplay of income and expenditure does not work there either. Above all, the sponsors are far too low there. All this is now adjusted and works very well from my point of view. I've also created a small file where I've adjusted some player-salaries. Those affect players who still had their old salaries before they signed for a lower league team, which has a massive negative impact on club finances.
2. I analyzed the player development in all nations (CA progression/CA strength at newgen intake). In some nations, the facilities that are far too good are a big problem, while in others they are far too bad. On the one hand, Newgens are created too strongly and after a few years the national team consists of nothing but 18-20 year olds (China, India, Honduras, Guatemala for example). This has now been adjusted so that all nations should now develop "realistically".
3. Similar to point 2, the average age in national teams is now almost consistently realistic
4. I have created a new file where all national teams have their real average-attendances. Unfortunately, Football Manager does not implement this 1:1 and the number of in-game attendances is often much higher than it should be. I have already adjusted these in a first step. Further reductions may be needed. However, it already brings that little extra realism with it, and that's what it's all about ;)
As always, all files are included on the link, so delete the older ones first.
5. I've created a new league-file for China. It's almost identical with the default one and only contains small adjustments for league rules. The default game leads to way too low transfers (not even €1 million for foreigners) despite the clubs have a ton of money. Now it works way better. This seems to have changed with 22.4., as I haven't seen that one before.
Any feedback is more than appreciated via PM:)
Enjoy!
Cheers
David
