I'm soo sorry to inform you that the perfomance-increase is not about 10% only, it can be much higher! :P

This is the first test with the "extended setup" very small:

%-Faster: 42%!
The main benefit comes from the Japan-file, but even without this Nation activated , the benefit is still about 18%!

Hello, everyone! I'm very pleased to finally release my "Increase Realism Megapack"-July update.
For Beta users: There were only very small adjustments from BETA to Early-Access, so if you are enjoying a save game already, keep going:)
What's included for this month?

DATABASE-OPTIMIZATIONS

As previously announced, the main focus was on "speed".  But there are other changes aswell!  What does "speed"-optimization  mean exactly?

Due to database optimization, the simulation speed is now about 10% faster, depending on the setup even more.

What was the problem? What is the solution?

Problem:

After a few years, the number of players in the database increases quite a bit. However, this varies from Nation to Nation. I've analyzed over 200 Nations to be sure.  So it's not a general problem. In some Nations its very extreme with the number of players doubling in just 7 years:

Japan (9132 -> 25651)

Spain (7609 -> 12120)

Romania (5506 -> 10349)

Portugal (5810 -> 10190)

Sweden (2682 -> 7448)

Turkey (3518 -> 5129)

Austria (3017 -> 3529)

Poland (2813 -> 3596)

Total players in test save:
2021: 40011
2028: 75411

Above all, the main problem in these Nations is that newgens are created in Clubs, which are completely irrelevant for most setups. For example, in Portugal, youth players are created with a CA of 10 in clubs that are well below the 3rd league (assuming you have the first two leagues on playable). It is irritating as not all Nations have this problem.

Solution:

This problem can be "partially" fixed in the editor by setting the "irrelevant" competitions to "inactive".

However, it varies from Nation to Nation whether this is even possible.

It worked in Portugal. (Level 4 inactive as well as lower league youth competitions).

This was not possible in Spain, since the youth leagues there are mixed between amateur clubs and professional clubs, so you would notice the changes with a lower level of realism.

The problem is worst in Japan (custom file by Robbles Quinn). He gave me permission to edit his file (J.League english simple file) and include it in my pack. All the other files for Japan can be used from his post (players, referees etc.)

The following nations have been successfully edited:

Japan (3232 -> 5214,  Numbers at the start are already much lower)

Portugal (5310 -> 6889)

Romania (4565 -> 8370, still too high but at least a bit better)

Sweden (2682 -> 4783, Numbers at the start are already much lower)

Austria (3017 -> 3388)  Total players in test save: 2021: 32436 2028: 41638

So with the same setup, the database went from 75411 players in 2028 down to 41638!. These changes gave me a performance increase of about 10%. Depending on the setup, this value can be even higher! There might be different percentages depending on your PC/Laptop, but it should be at a similar range.

Best of all, the longer you play, the bigger the improvement^^

Do these files reduce the realism in those Nations?
No, you won't notice any difference at all. If you want to start a lower league save in one of those Nations (Level 3 or lower), I would take that file out.

OTHER CHANGES

Awards/Market values
Player development is now where I want it to be. Unfortunately, the reputation among young players is still too low (especially in top Nations). This has now also been fixed. However, this leads to even higher market values, which were already too high, especially for young players in England/Spain. This has also been adjusted/lowered. There is also no "alternative version" of awards anymore. There is only one version which suits for everyone to keep things simple (more or less xD).

Thus it can be summarized:

- Higher reputation for young players

- Lower market values  for players, which leads to more transfers and thus a more realistic reputation distribution (quite paradoxical I know xD)

- Manager attributes have been slightly adjusted again so that the national teams of top nations have a slightly higher focus on nominating young players.

- Youth facilities in Africa were slightly increased again.

- There were, as always, countless other small improvements which I can't mention all of them. :D

An XXL simulation of the July ALPHA (currently in 2032) is uploaded on Patreon (Level 2). It really looks great so far. I've never saw that less things which annoyed me:D You can check the save-game here:
