Although I was only a single digit child, as I got older and started to embrace the music I heard as a kid and it doesn't get any better than Superfly, Let's Do It Again, and Carwash as soundtracks. Aside from that Curtis Mayfield was a beast on any movie he scored.

Hella rewatchable. Taraji was adorable in this EDIT: if yall recognize the white girl itโs most likely from orange is the new black. She was also in 8mile in a super small role. EDIT: sucks when yall miss the nuances sometimes. That talk about the dreams was so dope. DJ is a complicated ass character. Soft ahh pimp hehe
