Some changes !

Regarding rewards distribution:
Throughout my time using Patreon as my main source of income, I have always kept old rewards up for new patrons to download at any time. However, due to an unfortunate incident, this may soon change ...
Some time ago I have heard from a concerned citizen that my entire Patreon archive, including patron-only posts have been uploaded to a third party site without my consent. This has hurt me terribly π
The site had (thankfully) already been taken down, but I'm afraid that in order to protect myself in future I will have to limit the availability of rewards from now on π This means patrons will only receive the rewards for the month that they pledged, and every subsequent month after that.
Not sure how I'm gonna do that yet though, but rest assured, patrons will receive their appropriate rewards ! I am currently studying Patreon's reward tracker for that matter.
I will also not be deleting existing rewards prior to this post, so new patrons can still download them at any time !
TL;DR: my patron-only posts got leaked on a shady website so I will be distributing them differently from now on.
Regarding fan art suggestions:
I will no longer be using "likes" as the definitive way to decide which character suggestion to include in the polls. This is because patrons who post their suggestions late tend to go unnoticed by others who commented, therefore giving the advantage to those who comment early, which is not my intention.
Instead, I will be choosing 4 candidates each time: (1) "most popular" candidate which is determined by the number of likes (2) "dark horse" candidate which is a candidate who was suggested later on in the thread, but still garnered a few likes, (3) "underdog" a character from a non-popular franchise that may or may not have garnered some unexpected favor, and lastly "artist's choice" which is a character of my own choosing, whom may or may not have been suggested by anyone else in the thread.
I hope you guys are okay with this ! π
TL;DR: characters chosen in the suggestion threads will no longer be based solely on "likes" but instead multiple factors.

I always thought it was cool to be able to access the previous rewards as soon as subscribing. But I do also agree with protecting yourself. This is your hard work and your paycheck. Sad that some people don't see things like that just because its a digital file or something. but I love the change to the voting system. Seems like it will be more easier to figure out who to vote for!

Some options are to provide gumroad downloads (use a discount code for Patreon only that'll expire in a month) or you can send the files through google drive or https://www.mediafire.com/. You will have to end up sending separate emails based on their tier, etc. Hopefully, Patreon will have an easy way for you to send out tier rewards. These are some ways I've seen other artists I support on Patreon deal with distributing their rewards.
