Odeth
Added 2024-11-01 17:24:34 +0000 UTCA lil bit of history, Odeth Poensis is a character own by an artist called Llua_Blue (Scaitblue is her old name). Odeth was the first original character that I fell in love with, and made me want to start drawing even if I was dreadful at it back in 2017. She disappeared for a few years after her creator have some live changing events happening, marrying moving from her country having a passing in her family, so Llua_Blue eventually switched to a totally different approach for art, to which she found a lot of success. I reached out to her a few months ago with a fanart of Odeth, not knowing if she even wanted to see her own creation again, but I tried nonetheless. (Not my first time, I had drawn her before but never really talking directly to Llua). To my surprise, she wasn't just super happy, she showed me a redesign she was working for her for a few years, with time we talked, became friends with her husband even, equally brainrotted by Odeth as I am, and he was super happy too in finding another soul like him that loves this owl chick as much as he does. Now Llua post more Odeth thanks in part of how much I pester both her and her husband with art, but also because she found happiness in drawing her once more. And that's why I draw her so much. I love Odeth, she was my inspiration for a lot of things, and without her, maybe none of my OCs would exist as I wouldn't have found the love and care to make them.
