The conversation between Matt and Elena by the pool table. Matt tells Stefan that Elena is big on trust and that she will find the truth. It is interesting that while Stefan was talking about himself, Elena was wearing a shirt with the colors the military uses for camouflage. Yes, ladies' colors are also essential details in the story.

2023-09-26 00:44:42 +0000 UTCI love how things that seem insignificant at the time turn out to be really important and link up to later issues. One thing this show did very well was to end on a scene that made you want to watch the next episode. As for him killing Zach, I think it could have been partly because he knew he was weaker at that particular time and Zach, given a chance, could have overpowered him and partly that he knew Zach was the one who encouraged Stefan to do what he did and that Zach wouldn't stop trying to get rid of him.
