2023-10-01 20:38:42 +0000 UTCDamon has good reason to distrust Stefan given how Katherine was captured as a result of Stefan going to their father to plead for the vampires. Damon had specifically asked him not to talk to their dad about her. Now, he has brought Elena in on another lie about helping Damon get Katherine out of the tomb. He was hurt more by Elena's betrayal, since he fully expected Stefan's. I understand Anna's desire to free her mother but she could have simply gone to Damon and worked with him in the first place.
