Added 2024-08-21 04:15:59 +0000 UTCwe're getting to the end of ACT 2, the part of the story where things go south. things are gonna start happening and its gonna be exciting. im a bit busy atm with my freelance work and my backlog of patreon sketches i need to catch up on, but im trying my best to keep up with the comics. im glad there seems to be interest in the comics
anyways this particular strip is based on an actual thing i heard way back in junior year of high school. some kid in my history class said that our school was modern because "we didnt have cliques, except for the jocks, and the nerds." you hear a thing like that and it haunts you for years
also i've been getting into bloom county lately. a silly detail about the comic that i love is when the characters wear unique clothes for a single strip, like binkley wearing a madonna t-shirt, or opus wearing a straw boater covered in tropical fruit. that's partially what inspired me to draw this snow tiger wearing a LMFAO shirt. also to be annoying and constantly remind the reader that these characters were in high school in the early 2010s
