Hey Patrons! 

How's it going?  I hope your Sims universe is bringing you great joy, and I hope my contributions have helped with that.  It's time for the first monthly newsletter.  These newsletters will provide exclusive news on my creations as well as fun Sims content.  Want to see something in these newsletters?  Let me know!

First off, I want to announce the next stuff pack.  We've had good feedback on this month's stuff pack "Faith Stuff", and we're hard at work creating the next one.  This pack has been teased but not fully revealed, so without further ado, next month's stuff pack will be called "Sims-Fil-A".  It will feature everything you need to get a restaurant up and running that sells chicken sandwiches and shakes, but not on Sunday of course!  Stay tuned for more info.

Speaking of restaurants,  stores and restaurants are one of the most intriguing part of the game for me, because so much creativity goes into them.  Yes, you can throw up the necessary furniture and open for business, but whenever I create a store or restaurant it's a labor of love.  Sometimes I can run out of fresh ideas, and so I've compiled a list of my ten top ideas for Sims restaurants/stores

10 Top Ideas for Restaurants/Stores:

1.Create the trendiest burger joint in town.  Make sure the craft burgers and beer sold here are matched by the hipster decor.

2. I saw this on Tumblr, but create a "Jet-ski" rental service.  Create a store or restaurant with a ton of jet-skis.  Sell beach accessories or beach food.

3. Create a super exclusive club.  Make a VIP section that only celebrities or group members can go into.  

4. If you have Cottage Living, create a country-town grocery store outfitted with the best jams and eggs.

5. Oftentimes we want our restaurants and stores to be super nice, because we design them.  For realism, have your sims' first restaurant go the other direction.  Make it a hole-in-the-wall fast food restaurant.  Roleplay your attempts to rebuild its brand.  Make it a chain across different neighborhoods.

6. Create a Board Game/book bar.  These are becoming super trendy in real life, so get in on the action in your sims community.  Create reading nooks or chess playing spots.  Host weekly tournaments there!

7. Use the Star Wars Pack to create an "out of this world" themed restaurant.  Wait staff need to be dressed like Star Wars characters or astronauts!  Create some themed rooms.

8. Create a "Your Sim" themed store.  Is your sim a famous author?  Sell their books there!  A famous painter?  Create a museum of their paintings.  No longer do you just "click to sell", sell physical copies!

9.  Create a "Bed and Breakfast", create a nice place for sims to lounge, and sell homestyle foods and drinks.

10. "Party Palace":  Get bored easily?  Create a "party palace", a store/restaurant that changes theme weekly, perfect for Birthday parties!
