Open it with the right mouse button. No terminal needed. You have to do that with all apps, when the developer is not registered by apple.

GateKeeper blocks it. Just open terminal and remove the quarantine meta-attribute: `xattr -d com.apple.quarantine cheatengine-x86_64.app`

for windows it still is. But since Apple decided to block ads on CE and blacklist my developer signature it will be a patreon extra only for now

Cheatengine was free before.. :(

There may be a setting somewhere to allow executing. I'm not sure where but it should be possible as a bunch of other people managed to get it to work

When i click enable speedhack i wont let me and this shows up Failure enabling speedhack. (DLL injection failed): Failure copying libspeedhack.dylib to /usr/lib

I can't open the game, the app tell me: "error while opening this process" the game is a steam game

Trying it with "Don't Starve" on Steam. When I choose "dontstarve_steam" in the process list (as opposed to gameoverlayui), I get a "Error while opening this process." Gameoverlayui would be allowed to open, but that's not where I should go to find/manipulate values, I think.

Multiselect is currently not supported by the Lazarus GUI library. Perhaps next version will have support for it

It wont let me select all of the addresses. I've tried everything such as: CTRL+A Command+A Ctrl+Shift Press the first address and shift and the last one. Nothing works.. Help please?

can you make it open the cheatengine process itself? It could be a protection flag on your mac

It is not verified no. Find a way to configure your mac to run unverified software. Or verify it yourself

check settings and make sure the debugger interface is set to mac debugger

Just disabled System Integrity Protection and rebooted my Mac but still not able to open any process.

I can't open any process on my Mac either. It says Error while opening this process. I tried it logged in on my root account as well but it didn't work. It has to do with being able to edit processes or something right? Your help would be appreciated..

Like you can't target the process, or it just waits when you click first scan ?

No one of the cheat engine work in ranbow???? Why???? When i type my xp and enter is i just get the windows sound and when i disable BattleEye it just closing the game

Not yet ported/broken, but i will get it to work eventually(differences between winsock and unix sockets)

Hey man! Amazing work porting to MacOS... If I can help in something, please just tell... Btw, I was trying to connect the CE to a remote server (running on an emulated Android device) but when I click the Network button nothing happens... Any clue if it is my fault or is not yet ported?

Are you sure this is the mac version? because this happens with the windows version if you have an anti-cheat installed

I open it and it shows up for half a second on the bar at the bottom then disappears, can't open.

Me gustaría aportar un módica cantidad para bajarme la última versión de Cheat Engine sin publicidad, mi Mac osx Catalina no me deja instalarlo, me avisa que descarga un imagen de disco dañina para el sistema. Solo lo quiero para trucar el Empire total war de una plataforma, con lo que tampoco tengo claro que funcione, la antigua versión del juego dejo de funcionar con la última actualización y con esta no me funciona "the cheat", no tengo claro que si me hago patrocinador me podrían facilitar el programa sin el instalador de publicidad, que parece ser el culpable de todas las alarmas.

In the Windows version 7.0 , vehdebuger still crashes in some of games, I mean it makes the game crash, can you add search address in 7.1 , like this hex on address 03FxxF9C usage=Finding fixed array addresses that only one or two of hex number(xx or more) are always changing by restarting the game and search bye pointer,that's mean 03FxxF9C pointer offset1 39 offset2 120 offset3 500 and etc... Does it happen on all processes? I'd say it's likely some kind of security system. Not sure which one, I had to disable a lot of them to get CE to work and kinda lost track. The SystemIntegrityProtection is off, and perhaps also some other mitigation features should be turned off

ok so i fixed my problem with getting the addresses on the bottom list. But I still can't select them and get them on the bottom list. I have double click each adress to get it on the bottom list

I mean the adress list on the left. I can only select one address and when I click the red arrow nothing happens

do you mean the addresslist on the left or bottom? if left that is normalish, the listview component currently does not support reading out the result of which entries are selected , perhaps the next lcl library update will fix that.

Could be something else then, I did have a report from someone that he couldn't open a single process, but he unsubscribed before I could ask him more

NOTE: For some reason leaving system integrity protection enabled did not have an issue on opening a process or debugging a process. Current Issues: - Sometimes when trying to right click in the Memory View window you'll get Access Violation warnings spammed. - When trying to resize the script window you will get an Access Violation warning message. - Memory View scrolling is laggy as hell on a Macbook Pro 2017.
